Hi Ricky, got a question for you. Have you ever sealed block paving with patio sealant after sanding and do you think it’s worth doing? I’m going to clean and re sand my own paths and driveway but not sure if it’s worth buying sealant, rollers, etc.

Hello Jim not a great fan of the sealing aa it never lasts and is very expensive for a decent on customers expectations are far to high thats why we don't offer it. Personally best not to seal and be pro active with herbicide.

A new housing estate I deliver on all has permeable paving driveways installed, a traveling type jet washing service has just cleaned a load of them and sanded in all the joints that were full of gravel until they blasted the lot out and left it all over the road. Really defeats the purpose of a permeable driveway if you fill the gaps in!
