As the A/C runs, water from outside air condenses on the coils of the AC, which then falls down to the drain pan below the coils. If the drain pan cannot drain, the water pools up in the drain pan and then overflows, dripping down through the unit and into the inside of the RV. if the drain pan is sitting directly on the rubber roof, as the unit runs or as you drive down the road, the drain pan rubs on the rubber roof, which yes, can cause the rubber roof to bubble and tear, which then gives you a MUCH bigger problem than water dripping in your rig.
Good afternoon , thank you for taking the time to post this. If I may ask a question, does water from drain pan exit through the sides of the pan, onto the rf roof and into the drain lines on both sides of rv? Just wanted to know if that’s normal. Thank you
Thanks good video and very helpful! Glad it is still here

Needed this video. So the bubbling was caused by the drain pan rubbing on the roof?

Yes.
From the drain pan, to either said, out the holes and into the roof.
