Should the AC unit be off or on?
We always have it off when we do this rinse. Thanks so much for your question!
For anyone else asking this: generally off.
Oh my gosh!!! We did it today and it worked instantly!! I expected a expensive repair that would affect our trip. Thank you so much for sharing!!!
That's so wonderful!! Thanks for sharing your results!!
I had my doubts but this worked and I'm still surprised
Great! So glad it worked for you! Thanks for watching!
The simplest solution is usually the best! I will start with this before I start taking everything apart, thank you very much 👍
Yes, that's the way we think too! We hope it worked well for you. Thanks so much for watching!
Thanks for the info. It worked for me. Saved me big bucks calling a technician to my rig. Really appreciate it.
Awesome! So glad it worked for you! Thanks so much for watching!
I’m at the beach and noticed that drip inside. Had to put two hoses together to reach up there but rinsed it all out and so far so good! I changed the filter also just in case (since I had a few extra with me I figured may as well since it was wet lol) thank you for taking the time to make this video
Awesome! So glad the video was helpful to you!!
Huge, BIG thanks! You saved me a lot of work on a hot roof during 90 degree heat!
Awesome! So glad the video was helpful to you!!
Thank you so much! I am scared of height’s and I had to troubleshoot this myself because the air conditioner stopped working and I am in Yuma Arizona right now over 100 degrees right now. I had to figure it out- went and purchased a nozzle, hooked it up went half way up the ladder and sprayed!!! It worked- so happy!!!! Thanks again!!!
Thank you SO much!!! This did the trick and no more dripping!!!!
Awesome! So glad the video was helpful to you!!
thanks for that --- been getting a lot of freezing on my evaporator due to a lot of water apparerently not properly draining out, and anticipating a big project on the roof. This is exactly what I needed to see. The other day I drove my RV to Walmart and when I parked I saw a sudden large amount of water running off the roof - dislodged by the driving and stopping. So I had a hunch water was not properly draining up there.
Wtf is this 😐 I was looking for a real solution, Why go through the trouble of making a video? If you're not gonna do it right
I tried this and I still had to climb on the roof. I know for sure my drain pan is not clogged anymore. Sometimes doing it right the first time is the best way
Thanks for your comment. Sorry it didn't work for you.
This was AWESOME. Simplest solution is usually the best. Thanks.
Yes, keep it simple!
Thank you so much! About to go do it now!!!
Awesome! We hope it worked well for you!
totally worked. thank you!!!!

subscribed and liked 👍
Thanks so much for joining us! So glad this tip worked for you!
Hey thanks this really worked!!!
Awesome! So glad it worked for you!
Very helpful video. I’m sure this has worked for some people, however I tried it and it did not work for my situation.
Oh no! We are so sorry this didn't work for you! Were you able to find out what the problem was?
I made the hole bigger and added a long small hose to it , I put a screen in to stop the clogging now if I don't see it dripping I know to clean the screen
Awesome! Thanks for your comment!
I'll try this first, but sure i won't have your luck. you never stated what brand cause i'm sure different brandsare built different.
Hoping it worked well for you!
Good fix. Happy Thanksgiving.
Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving!
Terrified of hieghts. My ac looks different than yours but i think i got the condenser drain thing. Only time will tell. Thank you!!
Hope it worked well for you!
Oh I am defiantly going to try this!!! We acquired a 1997 HR and the ac was leaking into the inside of the light fixture next to it. The plastic is so sun dried I was afraid to try to remove it, but this is so simple!!! Thank you sir!

If this isn't the problem, would this make it leak more?
Yes, it would. Possibly a roof leak.
Going out to try now.
And, subscribed.
This worked! Thank you so much!
Awesome! So glad this tip worked for you!
That does not work. It started leaking more. Other videos show how to easily remove the cover and clean out the drain holes in the drip pan.

Can't hear you
These roof aircon rot your van
I keep cleaning my tray and it keeps clogging and letting water into the RV. I’m at a lost. After I clean it, it’s good for a like 6 hrs then waters dripping in the RV again.
You might want to have someone look at it. It may be more than just dirt.
@@OverTheHills2019 I just put bigger holes in the tray. Problem Solved
@@QLFProductions There ya go! Good thinking!!
QLF is right, just drill bigger holes, problem solved....why these companies put pin size holes when people park under cedar and elm trees gets me....probably so you have to bring it back in, wait 2 weeks and pay $1000 or so for a 15 minute fix!....take care!!...
Not much sound in video
Wow! You are the first person to complain about the sound in this video. So sorry you had trouble!
The sound is fine
Sounds like a you problem sir
Definitely going to give it a whirl until i need to cleen coils this is perfect.
Great! Thanks so much for watching! So glad the video was helpful to you!
Oh my gosh... thank you so much! You just saved me from a big old stressful hassle! ❤️
That's wonderful! So glad you found the video helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
Six minutes to say what could have been done in one.
wouldn't this make more water to leak inside as well? and how frequently should this be done so it doesn't happen again?
No, the rinse does not make water come inside. Ed does this maybe about every 2-3 months. It has been working very well for us. Hope this helps! Thanks so much for watching!
i personally just cut my ac for a few hours and it wont drip for about a week , my rv doesnt have a ladder and i dont have one atm either and i m constantly working so basically use it as an excuse lol
