- I've been looking for an ABS front splitter for a while and went with a Maxton Design V1. This video is intended to show you what to expect when buying a Maxton Design front lip and how this V1 looks on a F10 with M-package.

same. especially since you don't see it very often in the wild
I was also surprised when my lip arrive and I flipped it over, a bit misleading not show this on their website.
Right?! That was kinda the reason I did this video in the first place since I couldn't find the bottom view anywhere. Hope that'd help others. Still like the look though.
@@BONDGarage I went with the Maxton Design FRONT SPLITTER V4, love the look and others sure notice the car, the price in Germany was just under $200, fare price I think.

These maxton add ons are just about passable on black and grey cars. On any other colour car it literally looks like the car has been driven through halfords covered in superglue.
I'm happy it is offered in black and somewhat matches my color so I don't have to paint :)
Do you Have to remove that plastic film before you mount it or you live it on?

lol. at some point the film will be beaten up and you will want to remove it but then it's way harder since it's installed. what splitter did you get?

i think it's supposed to be like that. a simple abs plastic pressed into shape. didn't expect this tho. but by now it's damaged anyway. driveways here are crazy steep and it cracked open at the top radius..
