Besides performing it on Solid Gold and the NBC Tonight Show, she also included it in her touring act for several years. I’m so glad you enjoyed it so much!

Dionne has a Doctorate degree in music education...she is a musician for real...she is not up there playing around and singing loud and high all the time. I had no idea about Dionne outside of about 4 of her songs and seeing her on Solid Gold in the 80s before I could appreciate real singing and even know what it is, of course her psychic stint, and I saw her on the apprentice. I grew up with Whitney but Dionne Warwick set the blueprint for Whitney.

Please get it correct. It is the other way around. Ms. Dionne came way b4 Whitney. This performance was 8 to 10 years b4 Whitney became famous. Dionne has a Doctorate degree in music education...she is a musician for real...she is not up there playing around and singing loud and high all the time. I had no idea about Dionne outside of about 4 of her songs and seeing her on Solid Gold in the 80s before I could appreciate real singing and even know what it is, of course her psychic stint, and I saw her on the apprentice. I grew up with Whitney but Dionne Warwick set the blueprint for Whitney.
