I love how France recycles everything. I wish the USA did a better job of recycling. Your fence is beautiful! I've never seen one like it before with the slats. Do you have snakes where you live? I was thinking about that when you were cleaning the stream. I really enjoy your channel. I've been a subscriber for several years. Blessings to you and Mike from Virginia, USA.
Yes we have snakes but nothing too harmful. Everywhere should process recycling thoughtfully. It does take time but it's worth it
Hi Jane and Mike. A brilliant week's work. You have been busy. 😃 You're right though, best to have taken advantage of the unusually cold weather and done some jobs before it heats up. I've been back in my winter clothes again this last week. Been freezing here in North West England too. Very strange for June. The weather forecast is so far looking promising for next week so fingers crossed it's accurate.🤞 I've been doing much the same and finishing off the last gardening jobs ahead of the warmer weather, that's if we do actually get any. Your fencing looks fab now and how nicely the flower pots finish it off.👌 Well done to you both. Thanks for letting us in again. Really enjoyed it.🤗😃
Thanks so much for joining us
I to am in the north west of the UK and totally agree that we need 2 layers of clothing to be any where near warm. For me that’s Jean, long sleeved tee shirt and a sweat shirt or fleece. I too have trying to get in front with sorting out my garden in the few hours each day it isn’t raining.
Fence and additions of flowers look lovely. Very smart!
Thank you! Cheers!
Highest respects to you and Mike . You two are so self sufficient.
Thanks so much
I wish we needed hoodies or beanies. It’s so hot🤣🤣🤣
It'll be 30°+ for us soon enough
That was a beautiful garden you visited. Nice work on your place! Doggy woofs to the Two Charmers, Mary and Dolly! 🐾🐾
Thank you very much!
The weather may be chilly but the flowers are loving it. Everything is so green and hopefully the fern is happy in its new spot.
A good declutter is great for the soul, sending it all to recycling a big ✔️in the box 😊
You are both doing a good job.😊
Please post footage of the critters digging the tunnels
Thank you Mike and Jane for a great video 👍🪴
I Ve transplanted some more rogue plants too. After visiting a garden, I want a woodland garden
You and Mike work so well together. Your place is beautiful and I can see all of your hard work. I have to admit when I get hot and sweaty I'm not so pleasant 😅. Loved this, thank you both.
I’m not a fan but trudge on
The fence looks great! And nice to have more privacy from the road. Love the red geraniums!
Thank you
We haven't even bothered putting in our window air conditioners yet here in the WVa mountains. It's warm during the days but cools down nicely at night.
Usually, we need a.c. by early May! It's inspiring to see the hard work you and Mike do most days. I'm so impressed with your stamina and perseverance! I work hard...but only for an hour or two at a time and maybe only every second or third day! 😅
Thanks so much
I am the same. If I overdo one day, I pay for it for two to three days.
We have had cool weather too. And a lot of rain. It’s hard to get in the garden to pull weeds.
I love your garden. Thank you Jane Mike and puppies
Thank you
The hole in the ground might be foxes. Pesky things constantly give me holes in the ground as presents
We live in Scotland and our recycling depot is similar
The garden with the tree trellis was beautiful.
Thank you for this glimpse into your daily life.
Glad you enjoyed it
93 degrees here today and I refuse to leave the house😂
It'll be 30+ °c for us soon enough
Evening Jane and Mike cracking video but i definitely have cut that wood up - love the cuties at the end
Glad you enjoyed it
Definitely enjoyed, thank you Jane.😊 The red Geraniums look perfect against the black fencing. Well done on all your hard work. 👏😊🐨
That fence looks really great.
The fencing turned out so nice, especially with the pots of flowers in front! It seems funny to be planning for winter when it's only June! But we will soon be canning and freezing for our winter meals.
Yes we will
Jane, this June we have been burning so much wood! We Need the Fire going to dry the house out, everything is so damp with all this Rain. Luckily we Had already stocked up on wood, but I don't Remember ever using that much wood in Summer..next week the actual Summer Is coming they Say...I believe It when I don't have to light the woodburner anymore🙈
I’ve never had to light a fire in June since 2015 which was cold all summer
We had a sweltering 37c yesterday afternoon here in Murcia region Spain. I normally enjoy the heat but I’m struggling this year. It’s sitting at 26c through the night.
At least it’s cool at night
That is a nasty plant and is stays really nasty for up to 3 years after it's died. I wouldnt even know what to do with that much of it. The smell truly is foul. 😢
You’re right, it’s stinky
Nice today in North Carolina. High 70s to low80s. Cloudy and a sprinkle but we are getting dry, need a good rain. I had my first cherry tomato last week and my first Celebrity tomato today. Lettuce is done, squash, peppers and cucumbers have flowers and baby fruit. Love your garden.
Sounds great!
Oh! So jealous of cool weather. We have had a hotter than normal June! 34 d C today and our AC died (18 y/o)
We spent the day in places like church and the library to stay cool. New AC tomorrow…and yes, funds in sinking fund available.
We’re making the best of it
living a nice life
Thank you
Beautiful and productive. Thank you so much for sharing ❤🎉
Thanks
I went to our local tip in Cornwall last week. Similar organisation to yours. Apparently Cornwall hasnt had landfill for some years either - which i thought was something to celebrate!
Absolutely! Compost, recycle or burn for energy.
France is doing a great job of recycling, less to go in landfill has got to be a good thing, the garden and fence is looking great.👍🏾
Your dog is gorgeous too
Thank you
What a beautiful garden! Glad you have had cooler weather to get those jobs done. It's been HOT here in central NY state. High 80s to low 90s F. Above average for us. I caved and put the window AC unit in.
We will hav3 heat soon enough
Wonderful job on fencing! Loved the inspiration garden❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Lovely garden you visited, and a satisfying productive week- the stream is looking good
Thanks for visiting
We need to implement decheteries in the US. I HATE going to the stinky landfill and knowing most of what we take there will just sit there forever. the French are so much smarter and conscientious about how they deal with waste.
No landfill here, it's all recycled or burned to make electricity
I love your fence, I wish we had it here in Aus.There would be a great deal of satisfaction after finishing those jobs.
It really is!
your fencing looks very sleek & classy 🙂
Thank you
👍👍👍
June in TX, USA is 90+ and humid. Thanks for sharing.
You get searing heat there,
The fence looks really smart!
Such a pretty home and yard.
Thank you
Gosh,Jane its 98° here in In Illinois, USA please send some of your cool weather Our way would you?

Thanks for visiting
Where did you get the solar boxes from, please?
@@SuperDancingD all powers Europe
So much work Jane and Mike👏👏👏
Thank you so much
Your new fencing looks fabulous!
Thank you!
Beautiful garden to visit. You have had another very productive week. Think I spotted geraniums in your pots by the gates? One of my favourites, very underrated and last on and on. I have them in hanging baskets and they usually last right through until October. Nothing quite like hanging washing out in the sunshine, although we're a bit restricted here as both my son and I get really bad hay fever!
We’ve got terrible hay fever too, the pollen is giving us itchy eyes and coughs
Just a bit jealous of your weather. I'm not a fan of summer and temps this week are 90s F/33+ C here. 97 F/36 C here currently.
Oh wow!
Wow,great amount of work have been done and still plenty awaiting. Super beautiful near the water. What a difference when you cleaned it around. Yes, I believe you about the smell 🥴 but it's worrh it. I was awaiting to see the fence once is ready. It's looking great. Simple and stylish. Congrats for the new fence.🥳 You two are such a team. Really like when you run solar. Smart.
Thanks so much
The fencing looks nice.
Thank you

Thanks so much!
Greetings from north coastal Oregon USA. Impressive wood splitter! Does it run on electricity? Where did you get it? These videos are quite inspirational-thank you.
Yes and bought it in a French farming supplies shop.
Your dogs are adorable.
Thank you
