I think pension schemes should be suspended for all politicians and high rank officials and should be given only to those army officers family who had lost their life during duty or on border.

But even if he goes there for a single day, he is entitled to full pension. Further, politicians get multiple pensions - every time they are elected, a new pension is added to the earlier pensions For example, a veteran politician was getting 5 pensions, more than Rs 5 lakh per month. Now the new APP Govt in Punjab has reduced it to one pension only. But it is there in all other States as well as the Centre.

I took my LML Vespa scooter and went from shop to shop in Noida, asking shopkeepers to take a look at velvet samples and buy it from me. Imagine if the officers(ss) who are paid more money after retirement(than the soldiers)+ plus life time canteen facilities+ plus life time medical facilities for himself and his family has to go through this. What will happen to these newly recruit soldiers,who will not have either medical facility or canteen facility or the same as money as officer after retirement,how will they manage their life,how will they support their family financially after their term of sevice is over. If consider only money...... an officer under short service commission can easily earn apprx officer 1.8 crore rs for 12 yrs of service.... & this amount of money is good enough to have atleast basic initial need as (a) have own home🏠 & (b) live good lifestyle in day to day life in normal city of India 🇮🇳 & the most important point is that there is no only provision of short service commission for recruitment of officers👮 , it's the choice of an individual while applying as an officer👮

@@SQUID12 All the army personnels will not be recruited through this scheme, this is just a voluntary scheme. You can yourself check, only 45000 soldiers will be recruited through agnipath. Rest will be recruited normally and will get the same training and pensions they used to get earlier.

Joining the armed forces is one of the most difficult decisions a person can make. He is sacrificing his life for a greater cause, not knowing whether he will come back or not. He is willing to be away from family for such long periods of time, because he is serving the nation. But having said that, he still goes ahead with it because it secures his family forever, in life or death. Without this security, what will make anyone agree to risk their lives?
Brother if you listen to press conference today, the army person said that insurance of Agniveera will be above 1 crore which means if anything happens to them then govt will. Spend more than 1 cr but if by gods grace they are safe then they go withh 11 lakh after 4 years

Motivation of country, and a surety that their families are well taken care of. You are perfectly on point about the pension scheme for MPs and MLAs. That should be revised - Pension should be given only to those MPs and MLAs who complete 4 consecutive 5 year terms as MLA or MP.
And also one time pension Currently if you are an MP and before that you were MLA then you will get pension of MLA and in multiple times of how many times you were MLA

The bonding among soldiers is of utmost importance in peace as well as war. The Agniveers will be unable to attach themselves to the regular ones. This will create a gap in the forces. Moreover, some Agniveers will pretend to be a patriot for the 4 years. After becoming permanent, most of them will come in passive mode and become a burden to the defence. . I am a retired one and knew the mental and physical stress in the environment.

Besides DHRUV'S agenda, i agree on him this time. In this country POLITICIANS enjoy all the services and pention throughout their life but they are taking away the services of ARMY who sacrifice their lives for this country.
My father was in the army for 17 years, when he took retirement in 2006(37 years old), he struggled a lot to find a job, he didn't have any degree to join a formal job. Finally, He took the job as an armed gunman at a Govt bank. After years of working at the bank as the armed gunman, he completed a degree along the way, then applied for bank employee, which my father got on the second try(only general category person who got selected), in his first try all positions went to reversed guys, On Today's date he is working as a chief cashier at the same bank. This is the story of every army person who gets retried after years of service, some find a job, and some won't find one. Now, this new scheme will cause more of this problem. I am sure most of these won't able to find jobs after four years.

There are two concerns here: (1) Future of recruits (2) Structure of army. There is no clarity about both. Retired personnel are speaking against this as they think this will devalue the army. Aspirants feel their is no guarantee for their future. Armed forces can not be treated as an employment. It is more than that, or at least in perception the kind of respect these jobs attract is higher than other jobs. Instead, the government could have implemented such scheme in some other sector along with opportunity to learn or get educated. Something like 'earn while you learn'.

25% and upto 25% has a great difference..25%means guarantee 25% and upto 25% means there is no guarantee of 25% ...there can be 1% or 2or 3 and 24% respectively...so here the government very cleverly uses the term upto 25%... think amd react..
Mr. Dhruv Rathi, in case of Agniveer Scheme, you have laid more stress and concerns on the employment side of the scheme. Fair enough, it is also a very important issue. But the defence part of the country has received only a passing reference. My concern is more on the defence of the country, which is possible with a reasonable learning and experience of say nearly 10 years or between the experience of 7 and 10 years. Because, a quick learning is not only incomplete but cannot create competent and confident soldiers.

After 4 years of tenure, they can support other Indian partnering nations like Japan under an agreement for the bilateral deployment and get paid in return for services. It's somewhat similar to TCS selling IT services to the US. Having an Indian battalion in an emergency at a cheaper cost on their frontline is purely for maintaining employment. The the concept of Agnipath is made for war like emergency as in my opinion in the near future we are going to have a war and hence they are recruiting Agniveers for 4 years as the government suspects that within these 4 years we may have war with China as the border tension is slowly increasing.... China is recruiting more and more army personnel and are deploying them in ladakh region..... This is same as *_Indian Conscription_* where Agniveers will be classified as Réservéd Personnels... They along with other Reserved Army personnel will be later deployed in ladakh and other Conflicted areas if the war like situation happens..... The scheme AGNIPATH itself is a big word which may symbolises a big and a heavy duty to protect our motherland in case of war like emergency....There was no need to name the scheme with such a heavy word which symbolise the great penance of what I suspect is true

Great video. Another question is exactly what is the ratio? How much of the traditional military recruitment opportunities are converted into Agnipath scheme? If the percentage is too low (below 5%), it should be considered as a positive move whereas if we're talking north of 30%, it is absolutely horrible.
@@Surajcxscsingh I thought the same. But center revealed that they are going to amp up the numbers by up to 1.2 lacs over the years. That is far from 3%. India clearly doesn't recruit 35L defence personnel a year. So apparently 3% is just a bluff to calm people down.

the future of warfare is not men vs men fighting wars with fists and guns we need to develop our weapons more the new age of warfare requires more spending on latest technology and weapons if we go to this side then our army members will be more safe remember galwan valley where we lost 20 soldiers? we could have spend some money on cutting edge weapons to prevent loss of soldier lives for this the only option left for government is to reduce pension which consumes 25 to 30% of our defence budget we can't reduce the salary factor which is nearly 30% itself so we can only reduce what's in our hands plus defence budget can't be dynamically increased we are a developing we can't spend 600 billion dollars like America does. So this move was bound to happen in the longer it will help our country as we would be able to purchase more cutting edge and automatic weapons which can save our soldier lives as future of warfare is mostly dependent of latest technology as evidenced by bayraktar drones in ukraine.

But even if he goes there for a single day, he is entitled to full pension. Further, politicians get multiple pensions - every time they are elected, a new pension is added to the earlier pensions For example, a veteran politician was getting 5 pensions, more than Rs 5 lakh per month. Now the new APP Govt in Punjab has reduced it to one pension only. But it is there in all other States as well as the Centre.

During my time, Short Service Commission Officers served for 5 years. After that, they could opt for 5 years extension. Some were absorbed permanently. Now the rule for SS Officers is 10 years plus 4 years extension.
No pension or benefits.
SS officers are left on the road. They have no where to go. Imagine an officer who is 36-38 years old, with a wife and 2 kids…just standing on the road…lost. The struggle SS officers face is unimaginable.
Today, I am financially comfortable. 23 years back, I decided not to identify myself as Major Gaurav Arya. For sake of anonymity, I dropped my rank. I took my LML Vespa scooter and went from shop to shop in Noida, asking shopkeepers to take a look at velvet samples and buy it from me. I understood that this work was not what was expected of me, and so I hid myself from the world.
I did odd jobs.
Today, the Major Gaurav Arya you see on TV and social media is the result of a long and terrible struggle. The confidence is a result of a hundred failures and a thousand humiliations. I came out stronger. I survived.
I remember taking a morning bus to Bhikaji Cama place and Nehru Place. Handing over my CV to numerous consultants, hoping for a job, I would return in the evening.
Later, I started using my rank when I thought that the job I was applying for was more fitting and my rank would be respected.
“Do you know how to operate a computer?” they asked. This was 1999.
“No. I was on the line of control. There was no electricity there”, I would respond.
They looked at me as if I had crawled out of a cave.
I struggled for 10 years before I could manage a semblance of financial stability.
None of us SS Officers became terrorists or sharpshooters for the mafia. None of us became anti national elements. No one broke the law.
Today, when I see people so worried about Agniveers, and rightly so, I want to ask them…where were you when thousands of SS Officers struggled for survival? Where are you when thousands still struggle today? Why is there no concern for us?

Confused, I spoke to a senior who was also an SS officer. I asked him why were were neglected.
“Do you know the full form of SS, Gaurav?” he asked.
“Yes Sir. Short Service” I responded promptly.

Imagine if the officers(ss) who are paid more money after retirement(than the soldiers)+ plus life time canteen facilities+ plus life time medical facilities for himself and his family has to go through this.
What will happen to these newly recruit soldiers,who will not have either medical facility or canteen facility or the same as money as officer after retirement,how will they manage their life,how will they support their family financially after their term of sevice is over.
It's good that people are caring for soliders atleast this time that's why they are sceptical about this scheme and worried about the future of soldiers after retirement,good to see people started caring about Soldiers.

the future of warfare is not men vs men fighting wars with fists and guns we need to develop our weapons more the new age of warfare requires more spending on latest technology and weapons if we go to this side then our army members will be more safe remember galwan valley where we lost 20 soldiers? we could have spend some money on cutting edge weapons to prevent loss of soldier lives for this the only option left for government is to reduce pension which consumes 25 to 30% of our defence budget we can't reduce the salary factor which is nearly 30% itself so we can only reduce what's in our hands plus defence budget can't be dynamically increased we are a developing we can't spend 600 billion dollars like America does. So this move was bound to happen in the longer it will help our country as we would be able to purchase more cutting edge and automatic weapons which can save our soldier lives as future of warfare is mostly dependent of latest technology as evidenced by bayraktar drones in ukraine.

The bonding among soldiers is of utmost importance in peace as well as war. The Agniveers will be unable to attach themselves to the regular ones. This will create a gap in the forces. Moreover, some Agniveers will pretend to be a patriot for the 4 years. After becoming permanent, most of them will come in passive mode and become a burden to the defence.

The primary concern is the reemployment of those 75% Agniveers after four years...I think the government should not interfere within the Defence System
If you think logically there are many available options for employment after retirement from service
Main reason is most soldiers are from lower middle class and ruler farmers family. So modi government don't want to give any pension to our soldiers. But all the civil servant and officers are from upper cast and they are from city, modi government like to pay them high pension to them
Are they so useless that after getting seva nidhi of 11lakh plus whater they have done saving from their salary cannot complete their graduation plus they can study for gov exam and their retirememt age is 25 and here in allahabad student of age 35 to 40 years havenot got any job they are doing studying for upsc or other exam
That's where the age restriction plays a vital role..when the 21 yo person will join the forces at 25-26 yo he will the retired and each and every person in this country finds it suitable age to whether look for a job or change their current job so there is no point of this reemployment thing..
But the truth is those 75% of agniveers are actually sitting in homes and applying for armed forces jobs for the last 4 to 5 years...even during the normal recruitment procedures.

My father was in the army for 17 years, when he took retirement in 2006(37 years old), he struggled a lot to find a job, he didn't have any degree to join a formal job. Finally, He took the job as an armed gunman at a Govt bank. After years of working at the bank as the armed gunman, he completed a degree along the way, then applied for bank employee, which my father got on the second try(only general category person who got selected), in his first try all positions went to reversed guys, On Today's date he is working as a chief cashier at the same bank.
This is the story of every army person who gets retried after years of service, some find a job, and some won't find one.
Now, this new scheme will cause more of this problem. I am sure most of these won't able to find jobs after four years.

There are two concerns here: (1) Future of recruits (2) Structure of army. There is no clarity about both. Retired personnel are speaking against this as they think this will devalue the army. Aspirants feel their is no guarantee for their future. Armed forces can not be treated as an employment. It is more than that, or at least in perception the kind of respect these jobs attract is higher than other jobs.
Instead, the government could have implemented such scheme in some other sector along with opportunity to learn or get educated. Something like 'earn while you learn'.
AGNEEPATH HOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A SCHEME FOR EMPLOYMENT... IF A PERSON JOINS A GOVERNMENT JOB THEN IT IS HIS OR HER DUTY TO SELFLESSLY CONTRIBUTE TO THE WELL BEING OF A NATION.. 25% and upto 25% has a great difference..25%means guarantee 25% and upto 25% means there is no guarantee of 25% ...there can be 1% or 2or 3 and 24% respectively...so here the government very cleverly uses the term upto 25%...

Mr. Dhruv Rathi, in case of Agniveer Scheme, you have laid more stress and concerns on the employment side of the scheme. Fair enough, it is also a very important issue. But the defence part of the country has received only a passing reference.
My concern is more on the defence of the country, which is possible with a reasonable learning and experience of say nearly 10 years or between the experience of 7 and 10 years. Because, a quick learning is not only incomplete but cannot create competent and confident soldiers.

After 4 years of tenure, they can support other Indian partnering nations like Japan under an agreement for the bilateral deployment and get paid in return for services. It's somewhat similar to TCS selling IT services to the US. Having an Indian battalion in an emergency at a cheaper cost on their frontline is purely for maintaining employment. Just an alternative opinion.
They can also join groups which aim to harm the country's security after all trained young men with no source of income are not very hard to sway

Gov gave lolipop to us on last date of every month that there are some administrative reasons
But on 14 June gov cancelled all pending requirements in airforce and army

I'm against this Scheme
I have my reasons like millions of others out there but it's also a fact that violence can't be Justified in any manner.
The the concept of Agnipath is made for war like emergency as in my opinion in the near future we are going to have a war and hence they are recruiting Agniveers for 4 years as the government suspects that within these 4 years we may have war with China as the border tension is slowly increasing....
China is recruiting more and more army personnel and are deploying them in ladakh region.....
This is same as *_Indian Conscription_* where Agniveers will be classified as Réservéd Personnels...
They along with other Reserved Army personnel will be later deployed in ladakh and other Conflicted areas if the war like situation happens.....
The scheme AGNIPATH itself is a big word which may symbolises a big and a heavy duty to protect our motherland in case of war like emergency....There was no need to name the scheme with such a heavy word which symbolise the great penance of what I suspect is true
As this scheme was isued by Indian government on the plea of NSA and Indian Army General
Why should we love this country if the government cannot guarantee the basic livelihood of its citizens?

Great video. Another question is exactly what is the ratio? How much of the traditional military recruitment opportunities are converted into Agnipath scheme? If the percentage is too low (below 5%), it should be considered as a positive move whereas if we're talking north of 30%, it is absolutely horrible.
See basic soldiers make up the major portion of an army.Agneepath scheme will replace the existing recruitment system for basic soldiers.

@@Surajcxscsingh I thought the same. But center revealed that they are going to amp up the numbers by up to 1.2 lacs over the years. That is far from 3%. India clearly doesn't recruit 35L defence personnel a year. So apparently 3% is just a bluff to calm people down.
