I've been watching this from the beginning and I love Stadium/Bridge/Skyscraper construction. AFC East rivalry aside, I'm glad the loyal fans of western NY are getting this facility. It looks like "the pit" has been carved out and the foundation is taking shape, nice progress!
So she opens in 2026, huh? I bet she is going to be a beauty! The renderings and such that I've seen look awesome. Our rivalry aside, I'm glad for the fans of Western NY, they deserve this. @@Con-b6x
Its going to be chilly 25 Degrees with 10 to 15mph winds with mix of sun and clouds. By Game time it will be dark but not expecting anything in the way of snow. New Video of the Stadium is going to drop in about an hour so stay tuned!!
Near downtown; the subway, the rail station, bus station, the Lake Front, restaurants, hotels and most games are on the weekend when the parking lots and parking ramps are empty so why would they put near downtown???@@PeterJCimino
I wish Buffalo Bills play in downtown city. It would be great acres next to Buffalo Sabres arena. But officials from sponsors chose new stadium next to old stadium in Orchard Park. Highmark Stadium is vintage. Officials want new stadium for better economic in area. I think Buffalo Bills will be better team with Josh Allen later on.
I was just saying the same thing, I wanted a stadium downtown, they claimed there wasn't infrastructure to handle the traffic, and to that I would have said, then lets wait, build out the cities infrastructure to meet the traffic demand and then build the stadium. Building it across the street was very short sighted.
A downtown stadium would have taken years longer, and cost at least a billion dollars more. As far as infrastructure goes, I've heard reports that it takes an hour to leave a Sabres game. Just imagine 3 or 4 times the people...
@@kevinh.7994 Cheap is cheap. This is a terrible location and there will be a strong demand for a new location a few decades after this. it should have been in downtown Buffalo from the start. They now had a chance to put it where it belongs but messed up once again.
Hopefully they don't tare down Rich stadium and keep it as a special events and concerts its really a landmark yes its change names over the years us older people either call it the Ralf or Rich stadium.

Glad you guys are doing well this year, I wish that the Dolphins could visit the new Highmark first in 2026.

@@PeterJCimino ok
Should of been Lake Front Stadium in the City of Buffalo - but hey, no big deal we can talk about that in another 50 years.
I wished for that too!!

@@PeterJCimino The owner wanted it in this spot and the state wanted to keep the price as low as possible to be able to sell this.

That's all the Buffalo bills need to get to a supper bowl, they have used every exercise their is .
They must be starving if they don't have a supper Bowl!
Does anyone know why new stadium is angled differently than old? Is it wind direction? Sunlight cast?
There is a NFL mandate for stadium orientation that do not have roofs.
@@AnthonyClauserif I remember correctly, the current New Era Field's orientation got changed due to the graveyard in the parking lot ..

Unfortunately, the plan is to demolish the old stadium.
I saw Bob Dylan, the Grateful Dead and Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers play there on July 4th, 1986.
does the law allow drones to fly over NFL stadiums on game day
No they do not.
Will you be posting videos every so often of the build? I hope the bills put a camera up later on in the process so we can watch it live.
Trying once a month if possible! Thanks for watching!!
