You said you are switching to the stryker XL, what more are you trying to fit? Trying to decide myself between the stryker XL or regular stryker with sherman pocket. Didnt even think abou sandwiching other pockets in there as well, good video showing that.

Don’t really need the additional space, but I really like the 2 external side pockets on the XL. I have absolutely loved the Stryker though!

In your thumbnail pic there’s a OGL guide lid on yours , my question is do you run it often or at all? I’m thinking the OGL for my XL.

I have spent all day in the deep woods with just a bare bones butt back just in case SHTF. About 5 miles into the brush that pack would be slug in a tree where it would stay the rest of the day.

You should see what the XL can hold. I’ve got my stove MSR windburner, USMC bivvy bag, artery’yx naga hoodie, a 10 degree down quilt, Katadyn hiker pro, and a bunch of other shit I know I’m missing. It’s insanely deceptive. Glad I bought it
