In 2000s , show named LAUGHTER CHALLENGE , LAUGHTER CHAMPIONS started which was a revolution in comedy sphere as it introduced standup style and gems like raju shrivastava (legend) , Sunil pal , ehsaan quereshi , Kapil Sharma , shakeel, Rajiv thakur etc etc came out and made standup famous. 3. Kapil Sharma, sudesh lehri , krushna Abhishek(nephew of Govinda),Rajiv thakur, Rajiv Nigam,Ali Asghar and many other second level of stand-up comedians emerged from another show called comedy circus which had near about 10-15 seasons(probably more, we all lost count) and Kapil emerged winner in many of those and hence , he decided to start his own show . I tries to give necessary respect and credit to everyone who ACTUALLY MADE STARTUP FAMOUS , BEFORE IT WAS A THING.
