your rich bro! only a week old and you lift already hehe. i want a crosstrek now too! cuz i live in canada and always snow. i drive a standard 08 civic and its not fun anymore with the snow and traffic. Crosstrek is gonna be my next car for sure!
Sir., your Review of the Crosstrek inspired me - so I bought one - black!! Question- is it possible to install your wheels and rims ( your specs) before adding the lift kit ?
#TalonSei you make we want a Crosstrek so bad now!!! I emailed COBB, and a rep told me that they have performance parts coming out soon for the Crosstrek! So heads up! Cool build bro!
This looks like it pushes the control arm down. Are you worried about the CV boots wearing faster since they're at a more extreme angle? Don't you also need to do an alignment on the front. You'll have too much toe otherwise.
those strut spacers are going to make your ride rougher.. make sure to keep an eye out on your upper control arm joint for premature wear, along with cv joints, end links, etc...
Stock tire size for limited trim is 225 55 18. You can only get the ko2s in 235 75 15. It's only about 1/2 inch more tire around the wheel than stock...including a small offset on 15 inch wheels, seems like it should fit with no lift.
Locking lugs are so easy to remove with a socket that is just a little tight. Just wack on the socket and remove lug. Shops do it all the time because people loose the lug key.
I’ve been doing a lot a research on the 2019 Subaru Crosstrek and think it suits my lifestyle really well. I would like to do a similar build to yours. Really like the stealth look in you Crosstrek and many other cars. Thanks for sharing. Probably will be hitting you up with some questions.
"*since some of you don't watch the whole video yet comment anyway... the tires are 235/75/15*" Lol. Story of my life. Not going to lie, I'm jelly of your tire size. Didn't want to lift my Forester so ended up going with the slightly shorter 225/75r15s.
Thanks. for the video. One question. I understand that you put. the spacers on the rear sub frame to make the CV joint angle less but how come this kit does nothing to correct the CV angle on the front? Wouldn't this make sense?
I have a 2018 Crosstrek premium , last Sunday i bought 4 method Mr502 15 diameter, 5 holes × 3.94 inches , I don't know what sizes of lug nut can fit to my car, any recommendation?
Just subscribed to your channel...ran across your Glock Gen 5 review. I like your diverse approach in reference to the subject matter of your videos. Keeps it creative and interesting (as well as informative, too! ). A lot of RUclips vloggers have strayed from staying on the topic of the vid and just like to hear themselves talk. I like that you are open to giving a shout out on new products that you actually use and seem to believe in. Okay..... I think that should more than fulfill my brown nosing duty as a new subscriber. Though, I mean every word that I post. You've got a cool channel going, honestly. As for your new Subaru Crosstrek.... the small lift and wheels/tires pkg look killer. I'm sure you've only just begun. I've been interested in the Crosstrek for a while, but was concerned about the availability of performance upgrades and off road accessories out there. Do you find it a bit sluggish after the tire size upgrade. The biggest curiosity I have, is how long before you make a video of your buddies installing an STi motor in your Crosstrek...I have never seen one done before, but haven't really searched it out. Anything can be done, for a price. Just wonder how much of a pain in the ass, and how practical a STi engine install would be. Food for thought brother! Keep em coming!
Did you replace the shock springs or did you leave them stock? I'm doing some research myself and I guess the spacers don't really raise your clearance? I'm wondering if the route you went is better for what I want or if larger shocks would be better.
Great video! I just traded in my 2013 xv for a 2018. Have to wait for delivery tho. How does the car drive lifted with bigger tires compared to stock. Does ride quality and acceleration remain relatively unaffected? Good luck with it!
Good Video - thanks !! Question: As you know, bigger tires show slower speed readings. Did you guys have to make adjustments to the car's ECM/Computer Module to adjust the speedometer to compensate for the bigger tires with slower readings ?
I really like this car... im just trying to get over the lack of power... i want a taco but the gas is terrible... very curious for an update video in the future of what you think about it
I have the 2018 Limited Crosstrek. I'm considering the 1.5" lift thru subtle solutions. Question: Could I do the lift kit first with the factory rims/tires and then swap to the Method rims/tires at a later date? Would the car look terrible in the interim while I'm waiting to fund the new rims and tires?
Thank you very much! I blasted one of my Limited wheels a couple weeks back so I am planning on the methods and maybe a lift kit. Really appreciate. Cheers.
Dude. That looks incredible.wheel choice = ultimately RALLY style classic wheel design & Those KO2’s are really well mannered on road but have plenty of grip off road. The only thing they suck at is mud.
This isn't a critique as I'd have done the same thing, looks awesome, but if you aren't already aware that gas milage you praised in the past video just took a big hit. It's a fine tuned relationship between the tire type/dimension and the SVT transmission. You're possibly also going to experience some noticable higher revs coming from the SVT to compensate for the change. There may be a cpu adjustment that can be made so that the engine and transmission are responding appropriately to the different ratios of mass/power/torque as they pertain to moving the same weight vehicle in a variety of conditions with a drivetrain that now has different characteristics. I'm no expert on this, just relaying research I've done myself. Before I purchased my Trailhawk I was looking into buying a new Patriot and putting a similar lift on it. Just some food for thought.
+Justin Dailey it's CVT... and it's not as big of a hit on MPG as "internet research" implies. Im not the type of person who does things without thinking them through first.
Talon Sei Yeah CVT, my bad, again, no expert. And I assure you I don't doubt that you do your research. I've seen a number of your vids. Good stuff. I'm a disabled vet with nothing to do all day so RUclips and comment chatting comes up alot. Sorry if I came acrossed negative in text form. It's really not how I am but seeing as how most people seam to suck now-a-days I think we naturally read text with a negative expectation. Anyways, I'll start getting on a philosophical soup box so... Subaru looks awesome. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do my Cherokee. I'm really jealous of your Android system. The Uconnect is nice but it doesn't pair nearly as well as yours.
2:32 your boy actually works wiith Rob and Dana Lin Bailey on all their Toyota Trucks and Supras. You should DEFINITELY make that connection and make some content with the Baileys. They’re some bad ass MFs !
I'm sure this has been asked. What about the Forester 2018. I'm looking at both for my family and some mountain time too. Seems the platform is very similar. Would it be mostly a money decision? Great videos! I have a BRZ that I love. But the back seats are tough with my kids.
How many miles on your new car, that undercarriage is spot less thats the way i like to keep things but after heavy rain storms driving thru unfortunate dirty condition that are unavoidable, good luck keeping it that way but i love it
Has anyone heard any news of somebody making a small turbo kit for the 2018 crosstrek? I have a 2015 forester 2.0T, really wanting to get an 18 crosstrek but I don't think I can deal with 10.5 0-60. Even if it was a really small turbo and only added 30-50 horsepower I feel like that would make a world of difference in the crosstrek.
Just got my Crosstrek and I’m absolutely in love! Can’t wait to do some fun things with it and make it my own 🤍🖤
Get these wheels like everyone else. The way, you can be you like everyone else🙃
It's interesting how such few small changes, can make it look like a whole different car.
Looks dope.
Thanks for the video. I just ordered the same set up for my 2015 Crosstrek. Cant wait to install this week!!
How.did it go? Did u manage to do it? How do u find it? Was thinking of doing the same with mine
Never thought a crosstrek would look that good
Now you're making me want a Crosstrek
Logamotive me too lol
I was on the fence, and now im not. This is for sure my next car
That actually made a huge difference. Liking where this is going. 👍🏻
Bill from the speed warehouse! Good for him and Rob Bailey. Right on! Small world.
I’m not a Subaru guy at all but seeing yours has definitely made me think twice about one. Great looking whip!!!
I was thinking. I hope he lifts that thing. Lifted Crosstreks are mean! Cool
Bill! From the Speed Warehouse!!!!! Dude. He's kick ass. At least for the stuff he did for Rob Bailey!
I think I want one. My 2016 Honda Civic is boring now but that Crosstrek has style!! I love it!
my new favorite channel after watching most of ur vids, love how you dont focus on one topic and make vids on guns cars knives and other stuff
Thanks for the support Theo 👊🏻
Yes! I was really hoping this was coming!!! 😍
your rich bro! only a week old and you lift already hehe. i want a crosstrek now too! cuz i live in canada and always snow. i drive a standard 08 civic and its not fun anymore with the snow and traffic.
Crosstrek is gonna be my next car for sure!
So glad you lifted it... love lifted Subarus
Damn, looks really good!! What a difference, thanks for showing us.
What a transformation! Whip's looking hot!
Sir., your Review of the Crosstrek inspired me - so I bought one - black!!
Question- is it possible to install your wheels and rims ( your specs) before adding the lift kit ?
i came for a lift video, I subscribed at 6 seconds in when I saw your shirt. Nice video, man. thank for posting it
Welcome to the channel 🤙🏻
#TalonSei you make we want a Crosstrek so bad now!!! I emailed COBB, and a rep told me that they have performance parts coming out soon for the Crosstrek! So heads up! Cool build bro!
Outback Overland holy shit, like a turbo kit?! I would get an 18 crosstrek for sure if cobb made a turbo for it.
That's BILL FROM FLAG NOR FAIL!!! BILL KILLS'EM BRO
Stock tire size for limited trim is 225 55 18. You can only get the ko2s in 235 75 15. It's only about 1/2 inch more tire around the wheel than stock...including a small offset on 15 inch wheels, seems like it should fit with no lift.
Came out better than expected!
Now get a light bar up top and a bull bar in front and a don't tread on me sticker for the rear window.
Quick and easy mod and it looks sick already
That thing actually looks mean now. I wasn't sure in the first video, but I like this.
Watching this vid, as well as the others.. Def not gonna regret buying the Crosstrek!
Let us know if the gas mileage changes a lot and how’s the tire noise. I’m curious thinking to do this set up near the future. Thx
Locking lugs are so easy to remove with a socket that is just a little tight. Just wack on the socket and remove lug. Shops do it all the time because people loose the lug key.
Very nice Crosstrek!
Now all the weirdos got the same wheels on their cross trek .
Trend setter 🤷🏼♂️
@@TalonSei clearly you started it lmao .
i’m ordering the same😂😂
Add me in the weirdo list. We’re is the location to the shop so I can take my new cross to get it looking like yours.
That Supra is gorgeous! I dig that chameleon looking BRZ! Dope video!
Bill did some amazing work at FNF. Small world
Damn!!! Straight up fire!!!!!!! Keep up the great work bro!!
OMG Nick! What a small world.
Looks beastly. Should be able to go to the cabin with no issues.
Did the lift kit change the smoothness of the ride? I just bought mine and I love how smooth it rides but want to lift it as well
When you randomly find Bill from the Warspeedhouse. neat.
Looks so nice man. The tires really give it an aggressive look.
I'm just gonna leave a deposit on the same setup now, thanks sancho!!
Fun fact you can buy a lock lug nut universal wrench which can remove like 90% of all the locking lugs.
STRIKE FORCE ENERGY!!!! Fuck yeah. Boom boom!!!!!
I super fuck with your music choice. Me and my girlfriend planning to get a 2018 crosstrek. Excited af. Currently own an Evo 8 😂
Looks good but we need a tire size and rim size. These measurements will make a huge difference.
"*since some of you don't watch the whole video yet comment anyway... the tires are 235/75/15*"
Lol. Story of my life.
Not going to lie, I'm jelly of your tire size. Didn't want to lift my Forester so ended up going with the slightly shorter 225/75r15s.
any rubbing issues? I also want to change my wheel and tire set-up without a lift for my forester.
Looks Awesome! No problems going anywhere anytime of the year! 🐼🐼🐼
I'm always in jersey. I'll be sure to wave
Great Work Boss. Can't wait to get my cross trek
What the name of the rims and model. As well as the rubber and size. If you could do it again would you go smaller tires.?
Dope!! Those wheels really set it off! Very nice!
Thanks. for the video. One question. I understand that you put. the spacers on the rear sub frame to make the CV joint angle less but how come this kit does nothing to correct the CV angle on the front? Wouldn't this make sense?
Excited for an offroad vlog!
This makes me want to sell my camaro and get a Crosstrek. Sick video man.
I have a 2018 Crosstrek premium , last Sunday i bought 4 method Mr502 15 diameter, 5 holes × 3.94 inches , I don't know what sizes of lug nut can fit to my car, any recommendation?
Bill use to work for rob Bailey happy to see he out there making money

Nope.
Looks real nice! I'm from NJ. pewtuber but I watch all you're videos.
You could of thrown the adapter rings in the freezer or used dry ice to shrink them and then drop them right in without all the abuse...
Beautiful shop... needs a wall mounted spring compressor, will pay for itself
Bad ass!!! world of difference makes it look so good
Good Video - thanks !! Question: As you know, bigger tires show slower speed readings.
Did you guys have to make adjustments to the car's ECM/Computer Module to adjust the speedometer to compensate for the bigger tires with slower readings ?
I have not the difference is not that much.
How much was it to get it lifted and how did you find a place to do it?
You should get the car wrapped too! See if a place will give you a discount if you have them in the vid!
I really like this car... im just trying to get over the lack of power... i want a taco but the gas is terrible... very curious for an update video in the future of what you think about it
Should have went with a 8 inch lift and 35” tires! Looks solid though
That BRZ though! I need a 2JZ swap in my GT86
I have the 2018 Limited Crosstrek. I'm considering the 1.5" lift thru subtle solutions. Looks sweet !!!! Way better then factory For sure !
This thing looks killer. What else are you planning on doing to it?
So can I visit your cousin's shop and have them install Forester shocks (strut+spring) on my 19 Impreza? =0
Great loocking...and again, Good Ol Germany is always still there...Jäger and today the AUDI S4 :))
RockABilly Killa it’s for sale too ;)
I like your fxxx way of life...we got great cars here...like the S4, but sometimes it´s very boring here in Germany...you know ;)
Great video and the car looks great. Did you go with the 1.5 lift and 2" ra? Or the 1.5 and 1.5" ra? Thank you.
+Rick Hutton thanks Rick. 1.5 and 1.5 it comes as a kit. I've since gotten it aligned and everything is spot on 👍
Thank you very much! I blasted one of my Limited wheels a couple weeks back so I am planning on the methods and maybe a lift kit. Really appreciate. Cheers.
Nice looking! How much were the tires and rims? By doing a lift, does that void the warranty?
hay man I just want to say thank you

Love this video...on point...pls keep them coming.
Awesome ✌️I have the same model, but in my country it is known as Subaru XV
2:32 your boy actually works wiith Rob and Dana Lin Bailey on all their Toyota Trucks and Supras. You should DEFINITELY make that connection and make some content with the Baileys. They’re some bad ass MFs !
Whats the size of mags and tires? Is it 2 inch lift?
Think it looks great! Really rugged!!
Where to purchase the center caps and lugs? Looking good !!
I'm sure this has been asked. What about the Forester 2018. I'm looking at both for my family and some mountain time too. Seems the platform is very similar. Would it be mostly a money decision? Great videos! I have a BRZ that I love. But the back seats are tough with my kids.

MRT performance out of Australia I’m looking at there turbocharged system for my 2014
racerjack479 I don't believe they're doing anything for the 18 crosstrek
Nice upgrade
Very cool, Im thinking of getting this car and doing this same. Also I rack for the top would look really cools as well.
How much ground clearance after the lift? Looks good!
Looks really good man
What back spacing are your 15 inch wheels? Any strut/tire clearance issues? Coming from a wrangler to a 2018 forester, I have to lift it.
That shit looks sick🔥🔥🔥
