Love your stories and narration. I grew up in Inglewood and once I got my hands on a motorcycle traveled many of the places you’ve covered in your stories. My adventures started in 1962 and I put many miles on my little Suzuki 80. Many early morning rides on Manchester ave all the way up that almost impossible hill to the overlook at the beach.
Mario Danelo's death was tragic, but it was not at Sunken City--it was off Point Fermin Park, on the other side (not in the fenced-off portion). These are important facts to get right to avoid re-traumatizing the family.
Thank you, again!

Are those abandoned houses I'm seeing?
This has been happening in portugese bend less than twenty miles away for fifty years. One can see the main road slowly collapsing
