How do you find it works for wet material? Does it have a hard time getting them through the tube and into the bagger? It looks like the bagger gets clogged a fair amount too?
@@HandyGuy2016 Thanks! Probably going to go with an accelerator + qwikchute combo. Doesn't look like I could run the cheaper rack em bagger bracket and qwikchute bracket at the same time. I should be able to with accelerator, but calling them to confirm.
Hey! I just wanted to know if you're using the standard mower (as in no striping kit), or if you have a striping kit installed here. Those lines look clean! Maybe I just need to higher my cutting deck 🧐
One day at a time lol. Seriously though, my customers are all aware that I'm a full time firefighter and they know that if I'm usually there on Tuesday morning "for example" and I'm on shift that day, I will be there a day early typically.
What do you think of the comment that some pros would rather have a 32-in stand on than a 30 or 32-in self-propelled, because they feel you have better productivity with a small stand on and you stay more fresh without having to walk.
@@jimmcknight3021 Every professional has different needs based on their area, climate, setup, and trailer space. I think for me a 32" stander would be too heavy where I need it.
@@HandyGuy2016 That's a good point. I'm asking a lot of questions, because I'm thinking about starting a lawn and landscape business. I'm getting tired of corporate America after doing it for several decades. I'm in good health and enjoy the outdoors and it may be time for a change at least on a part-time basis. I appreciate your insights and your videos are great! Every mower has trade offs I'm just trying to figure out what would be the best setup for the market that I'm thinking about servicing.
Hey man. I really enjoy your videos. I love that you’re running Ferris products. Quick question, will this setup vacuum up small pieces of trash? Odd question. I know.
Currently starting to do landscaping on the side to try and start my own self ran business. Having a really hard time getting my name out there and getting customers. I think this is due to Covid. Everyone is just trying to conserve their money the best they can. Any recommendations or suggestions?
I think the best thing for me has been being seen, doing the work. It takes time to build up clientele, a good reputation and word of mouth from happy customers.
I recently( 1 week) got me a FW15 with the castors. In Texas the majority of my work is flat so unlocked 95% of the time, however I have a fairly steep embankments on 1 property. The ability to lock the castors for mowing this embankment is invaluable. I came from a 30" Toro so there is a learning curve for operating this machine.
Looks really good. That fw15 does a great job
Great video

It doesn't work well with wet grass or leaves. I have found that a side mount catcher works best with this machine.

I have my homemade stripe kit on it here.
I have my homemade stripe kit on in this video.
yes you are working
Stripes are looking great.
Question, how do you balance the scheduling between full time Firefighter work and lawn care?

Our shift is 24 on 72 off, which also gives me 3 days at a time to get work done.
Am I correct in thinking that this more has a reverse? If so, do you like how it works?
Yes it does and yes I do.

I think it probably will. Works great for leaves, which would be similar.

True
Nice mower! Do you prefer casters locked or unlocked?
Unlocked

I want the fw 15 on my fleet, or the Exmark push mower.
I highly recommend the FW 15, it's a great machine.
