mhm, he's one of my all time favourites just because of his juxtaposition between his pain making him so human yet his legacy making him so very space marine! Thanks for watching!
Shit actually had me tearing up first time I went through it. Dante is the only character I won’t truly feel all bad about him dying. He will have earned his rest after all has suffered and him finally being at peace would give me much comfort.
Sadly, Glorious Golden Hawk Boy isn't actually alive. He is very, very much dead. However, his soul stayed coherent in the Warp, and as the second-most worshipped figure in the Imperium, it makes sense that he would gain some power as a demi-god.
Dante could be the vessel used to host both halfs of Sanguinius soul ( the dark part inside Mephiston and the Sanguinor) That would : Adjust Mephiston power level wich is absurd at the moment Explain why the Sanguinor visited Dante that much Explain why Sanguinius told Dante he still needed him And finally give Dante his final rest
Yeah, imo both Dante & Sanguinor are his light side, half & half. Nobelity toward civilian/humanity and supressing the red thirst & black rage are the theme & clue throughout his books. One particular scene struck me when young Dante engulfed in thirst, blindly butchering chaos marines & civilian alike, and then Sanguinor appear knocked him down, albeit it's too late. I believe one cannot exist without each other, while Mephiston/Black Rage getting ridiculously high in power atm, plagueing, whilst Sanguinor & Dante both struggling to stay alive and maintaining hope. They both perfectly portrayed Sanguinius legacies, the rage & his humanity.
i know that the imperium has no concept of retirentment "in death duty truly ends" and all tha but this giga no... TERA CHAD lived, figth, suffer AND work for 1500 years...just give him the best retirentment plan in the imperium i dont care if they have to sold the entire golden throne!!
God's the conflict of emotions. Imagine experiencing one of the most profoundly divine moments you possibly ever could, and it undeniably being the foundation for your greatest despair To be told by your father, your icon, your saint, the one you give everything for, that you must suffer more. That he is unable to let you go. The greatest honor and duty you have, is also your prison
Considering the latest lore drop of how the Hive Fleet is back and beaming straight towards Holy Terra, it may yet finally be time for Dante's rest. He was told by Sanguinis that he would perish saving the Emperor so I get the distinct feeling he'll be the heroic sacrifice that finally forces the Nids back to the fringes for a time
That would be a fitting end I think, more so than most. Maybe as Calistarius became one with the black angel to become Mephiston, Calistarius often being spoken about in the past tense as if dead, Dante will do the same with the Gold Angel, becoming no more yet not truly dying. I think I'd like that, it'd keep the struggle of a living Dante going on, it would merge him with the Gold Angel of Baal and it would put Dante and Mephiston as a sort of stand in for Sanguinius instead of having them just resurrect the Primarch himself. Thanks for watching!
I imagine this is what dreadnoughts feel constantly. The desire for death but unable to commit suicide as it breaks their honor and oaths. Tired of eternal war, hoping their father lets them die.
I have a feeling that GW is keeping the door unlocked for the possibility of Dante becoming the vessel for the Sanguinor and in a sense "dying" as that half of his dead Primarch returns, and at the same time, the half currently inhabiting Mephistion will assert itself. And rather than having Sanguinius back, we will have two new characters - the two souls of Sanguinius now active in the materium and Dante will finally be granted his rest. This way, Sanguinius stays "dead" for all those who like to bitch and moan that _"Wahhh, then his sacrifice will mean nothing, wah!"_ GW doesn't care, they want to make money. It would be kinda neat if those two halves then are in outward conflict with each other (not so much 'civil war' but more of an sharp ideaological split - Think Imperial Fists/Black Templars. Those two follow the Sanguinor, adhere more to the 5 graces, while those who follow the Dark Angel obey the 5 virtues.) This could be a neat thing to happen, and it also further leaves the door open for the two to fully re-unify into the true Sanguinius
I'm certainly not opposed to it! I'll see what I can do to find an excerpt that might fit one of my videos (unless you have a suggestion?) Thank you for watching!
I wonder, if the primaris surgery really restored Dante to full strenght? I mean the way his story is written before the whole Baal incident, his joints were aching and he had to drink copious amounts of blood just to maintain some semblance of combat readiness. Would 3 additional organs really do the trick on a space marine THIS old? I don't think even the emperor accounted for space marines to last that long.
I hope they let Dante become the first new Primarch. His story is great, and he is a True son of Sanguinius. Maybe they can write it in a way he got Sanguinius soul. Sanguinius is and always will be my favorite Primarch.
It'd be a contentious plotline but I'd love for Dante to take on the Sanguinor, so he has the Gold Angel and Mephiston has the Black making them a sort of joint primarch. Then release new more primarch detail minis for them! My thanks for watching!
I don't know how I feel about Sanguinius' return. I just go back and forth about it. I am an Eldar player it doesn't matter to me in terms of the tabletop. However, narratively it has troubling implications.

aha, I am glad I managed to convey it at least! Potential more Dante sadness soon, too!
I may need to balance it out with something a bit more cheery.
Thanks for watching!
@@danielquintonvo you did wonderful conveying the tragic story and you brought me to tears because of it so I must thank you for it but it’s still a tragic story nonetheless. You also did Sanguinius an impeccable justice here too
god, i always feel bad for Dante. this just makes me feel worse for him
mhm, he's one of my all time favourites just because of his juxtaposition between his pain making him so human yet his legacy making him so very space marine!
Thanks for watching!
If you dont shead a tear to that lads well your not human 😢
Excellent!!
My thanks!
Shit actually had me tearing up first time I went through it. Dante is the only character I won’t truly feel all bad about him dying. He will have earned his rest after all has suffered and him finally being at peace would give me much comfort.
The Glorious Golden Hawk Boy lives.
Flap! Flap!
Sadly, Glorious Golden Hawk Boy isn't actually alive. He is very, very much dead. However, his soul stayed coherent in the Warp, and as the second-most worshipped figure in the Imperium, it makes sense that he would gain some power as a demi-god.
If nothing else, he lives in our hearts! aha
@@blam320 Well, they brought back the Khan. And, if his soul is (mostly) still in one piece, that means that I can hope.
Dante could be the vessel used to host both halfs of Sanguinius soul ( the dark part inside Mephiston and the Sanguinor)
That would :
Adjust Mephiston power level wich is absurd at the moment
Explain why the Sanguinor visited Dante that much
Explain why Sanguinius told Dante he still needed him
And finally give Dante his final rest
I don't think there's a marine I empathise with more than with Dante, his pain hits deeeeep.
i know that the imperium has no concept of retirentment "in death duty truly ends" and all tha but this giga no... TERA CHAD lived, figth, suffer AND work for 1500 years...just give him the best retirentment plan in the imperium i dont care if they have to sold the entire golden throne!!
Just discovered these and incredible
Thank you very much! It means a lot
Very moving mate.
Thank you very much!
Please do the next scene I listened to this part a million times. Dante going to see roboute right after this is amazing
It is on the list already, edited and ready to upload soon, so, you are in luck! aha
Thank you for watching!
God's the conflict of emotions. Imagine experiencing one of the most profoundly divine moments you possibly ever could, and it undeniably being the foundation for your greatest despair
To be told by your father, your icon, your saint, the one you give everything for, that you must suffer more. That he is unable to let you go. The greatest honor and duty you have, is also your prison
And to know that your father is heartbroken to shoulder you with burden, like the great angels burden. It's heartbreaking
40k does a lot of characters dirty but few can claim a worse fate than Dante’s unending struggle towards rest
Sanguinius: Rise and shine. Mister Luis Dante. Rise and s-
Dante: FU@K YOU I JUST WANT SLEEP
Сангвиний: Слышь! Работать!
Данте: Да, отец.
And yet some would have you believe 40k is satire.
“I’m tired boss”
Sanguinius: nuh uh
Sanguinius really took up Big E's cruelty. Like come on the guy just wants to die. 🤣🤣🤣
i bet the day dante dies is the day sanguinis returns
I believe Guilliman gave Dante Hope. Guilliman is the Beacon of Hope, While Lion is the Fury of Humanity.
When Dante dies I would wish him to go in glorious sacrifice. Sacrificing his life to do something like set off a nuke or something like that.
All Dante wants is to die and be with his father Sanguinius. Poor guy!!!
Or do the part from the previous book where he takes the trial and is told to kill his friend Florian. It gets me every time
I shall add this to the list too, see if I can get around to it.
My thanks!
Such amazing work, my friend!!!!
I wonder if you would ever make something of my lord, Lorgar Aurelian?
I'm certainly not opposed to it!
I'll see what I can do to find an excerpt that might fit one of my videos (unless you have a suggestion?)
Thank you for watching!
Sweet baby boy :(
I can bet my hand that this mf will bring one of the Pimarchs to the Imperium's side
Man Just Want’s A Nap

It’s 3AM
Mad Fucking Relatable
I hope they let Dante become the first new Primarch. His story is great, and he is a True son of Sanguinius. Maybe they can write it in a way he got Sanguinius soul.
Sanguinius is and always will be my favorite Primarch.
It'd be a contentious plotline but I'd love for Dante to take on the Sanguinor, so he has the Gold Angel and Mephiston has the Black making them a sort of joint primarch.
Then release new more primarch detail minis for them!
My thanks for watching!
I prefer to think that Sanguinius is the one who gets to have a vision of Dante
I don't know how I feel about Sanguinius' return. I just go back and forth about it.
I am an Eldar player it doesn't matter to me in terms of the tabletop. However, narratively it has troubling implications.
