- The Full version of my prior Angron vs Sanguinius series.
An incredible battle that, when taken in full, shows the difference between the Great Angel and the Red Angel so succinctly.
Showing not only their primary traits and ideologies so well but also the nuances of Angron's softer side and Sanguinius' rage!
Not to mention as a setup for the final battle with the arch-traitor Horus himself.

My thanks for watching!
Put together my prior videos into this one full video. It is a wonderful part to set up the coming battles and so incredibly shows off all of the sides of these two Angels!
There shall be plenty more videos coming over these next two weeks.
Please do like, comment and subscribe to not miss those!
and, as always, my thanks for watching!
Sanguinius was a real menace to chaos . He smashed some of their most dangerous warriors . It took all 4 of the chaos gods and horus to finally stop him and even then he opened up a spot for the emperor to kill horus . One of humanities greatest heroes
What spot did he open in new lore?
New lore makes it seem like he just dies pitifully without doing anything meaningful aside from his merciless death giving The Emperor the resolve needed to clap that horussy
@@ChillAssTurtleExcept the fact that of Sanguinius had died in the excerpt above, the Heresy would be lost. Sanguinius had visions of Horus killing him and if Sanguinius didn't die before the fight between the Emperor and Horus, it meant the vision had to come true after the fight, which meant Horus would win.
@@Noorthia youre just repeating what i already stated. Gave The Big E resolve.
@@ChillAssTurtle Not resolve. Read my comment, if Sanguinius hadn't died, it would've been literally impossible for the Emperor to win.
Angron was meant to be what Sanguinius was while Sanguinius was what Angron was meant to be.
I never thought of it that way. Interesting
Without the nails and a culture like Vulkans he would be another compassionate primarch.
Yes angron was meant too embody compassion, unfortunately his compassion turned to rage.
Before this Sanguinius kicked Kalbanda’s ass too. Suck it Korne!
Then goes on to almost down the Luprical
@@mr.v2689 No he doesn't. It's not even close. Horus literally beats Sanguinius to death 'like a dog'.
@@mr.v2689what book were you reading? Wasn’t close at all
@@kolsveinnskraevoldingin his defense sanguinius wasn’t even close to 100 percent like imagine fighting current mike Tyson but your crippled and way weaker
@@ethanthamouse6695Mike Tyson is practically crippled 😂
The transition from the Blood Angel's main insignia, to that of the Death Companys was perfect. While not what we know of the Black Rage in the current setting, Sanguinius was technically the first Blood Angel to succumb, to the Black Rage
Not black. Red. But ye you can say it's " a foreshadowing".
What a sad moment. A man putting down an animal that used to be his brother.
I can't wait for the Emperor vs Horus. It will be legendary!
I do hope to get to that soon! It is a colossal part of the last book so figuring out the parts, then the logistics of recording, editing and uploading it all shall be quite a lot but, I do absolutely want to get to it!
My thanks for watching!
@@danielquintonvo can't wait
@@danielquintonvo The longer the better! I want a version of all the heresy audio books read and edited by you lol
The Angel was Darkness and rage, he decided to be Courage and light!
Ripping the nails out is metal af, love this fight
My exact thought when it happened
sanguinius is the best rage filled primarch
Best primearch in general
Best primarch full stop, by the blood! 🙏😅
Your voice is truly legendary. Thanks for the upload!❤🫡
My thanks!
Wasn't it weeks of fighting no sleep food or rest, then kabandarz then agron. Tf outta her if anyone is fighting dad and winning
How great could Angron had been, if he learned to temper his rage instead of letting it consume him
He did. That's why the high riders cut his brain to pieces 😭
The dang nails😔
If it wasn't for the nails we'd have a loyalist angron who would've been able to prevent the heresy entirely its so tragic.
His original ability was that he could sense and calm the emotions of others. When he was still whole and in the gladiator pits, he could soothe and calm his compatriots just by being near them. The nails twisted him into the daemon he became, instilling rage and hatred in others instead of peace and calm.
@@SpoonerSpecterand that’s why the Chaos Gods dumped him on Nuceria, whilst they couldn’t control everything, they stacked the odds in their own favour
Had Angron not had the nails implanted whilst he was still a “child” he would’ve easily taken over Nuceria, and had he not had the nails he would’ve been the emotional centre of his brothers, he would’ve consoled Lorgar after Monarchia, calmed Mortarions bitterness towards the Emperor, he would’ve been in a position where he would’ve empathised with Perturabo
Him and Kurze were the two specifically screwed over by the gods, he was supposed to be the emotional centre of the Primarchs, and Kurze was built to be the ultimate paladin, he had law and order baked into his DNA, so the Chaos Gods dumped him in a place which would drive him mad by being alone surrounded by crime
Had Kurze not being driven to madness, he would’ve been able to mediate the differences between brothers from a lawful good/neutral perspective, but his upbringing made him HARD lawful evil
I wish there was more lore on the First Angel (The Sleeper) the Emperor's first Primarch, he was basically all 21 Primarchs into 1 body. I wish there was more info on him.
30:58 I cant help but feel bad for angron. Fate is so cruel to him
You are truely gifted to bring these moments to a vivid clarity. I felt everything. Thank you for the experience.
I really hope you one day are able to do a full reading of literature.
I would certainly enjoy doing so. Maybe one day!
My many thanks for watching!
@@danielquintonvo God willing, I'll be there when you do!
It would be so epic if Syama Pedersen, who made Astartes, produced a video of this battle.
We all wish for it, but if he do it, it would take years, plus when it comes out, GW be like : all mineeeeeeeee
One of the my favorite fights in 40K. Amazing work with this.
I couldn't quite get what Angron says at the 23:33 mark.
Can someone tell me, please ?
I think Angron says "Look, the dying Angel sings"
While a lot of people are now saying that Sanguinius didn't open Horus's armor, it did sound like in the reading here that he did damage some of it? the scales and some of the plating, nothing too serious, Horus seems to have been holding back most of the time.
Well.. He was hoping for sang to change his mind.
Yeah, he did lots of damage to the armour. But it seemed like Horus didn’t need the armour by the end of the fight. Some of the things Horus did were vague… slowing time/teleporting? To react and counter sanguinius’ flight.
Though I think it was meant to be a futile effort thematically.
@@Hawko1313 That is a good point. In the end it was rather futile.
Sangi gutted him(literally… like his guts were outside of his body). He tore apart all his shields. Cut open several wounds and completely Destroyed his armor… he brought Horus to his knees.
It just made no difference. Right as he was about to deliver the execution stroke, Horus stopped playing and beat Sanguinius like a dog.
Of course Sanguinius didn’t go down without a few surprise dodges and deflection even full power Horus didn’t see coming. And thought that the angle may just be the most skilled existence in the universe. (In fact, he thought this BEFORE Sanguinius started fighting for real real. And at his death ends, Horus says that death has brought best out of Sanguinius… basically Horus says that Sanguinius was the most skilled being in the galaxy BEFORE Sanguinius stopped holding back and before he fought with the desperation of the dead. And don’t forget Sanguinius had just massacred over a thousand elite Lunawolves on his own, suffering several wounds, not to mention the fact that he was completely exhausted from the siege and the poisonous wound left by the black blade).
Tho sanguinius didn’t do any real physical damage to Horus (since physical damage couldn’t be done to him)… he did make Horus think “This isn’t right…”
And perhaps that was the crack in the armor that saw him give up his powers, allowing the emperor to kill him.
Either way, Sanguinius HAD to die. Sanguinius’s fate was to die at the hands of Horus. If he stayed in Terra and the emperor fought Horus, his fate would be unfulfilled. Meaning Horus would win against the emperor, so Sanguinius fate could be fulfilled.
I.E. Horus was unkillable as long as Sanguinius lived.
@@62sy well put. All of them holding back on Horus is so laughable to me. Especially the Emperor. He could end him at almost any time and doesn't... just won't give into that until he himself is dying and has to. Good for story, but doesn't make a lot of logical sense I guess.
It’s literally insane that the same primarch we witness here is later beaten like a dog and just pinned up like bad taxidermy
He was fighting for weeks on end without food or rest, solos several titans, solos Kabanda, solos Angron and countless traitors on the way to Horus.
Towards the end he was practically running on fumes and Horus had been fueled by the combined power of the four
@@inquisitionagent9052 even a fresh sang gets beaten like a dog. Point blank especially with the way it went down with new lore I hate it but it shows the real disparity of power and the absolute monster Horus had become
The way you change the emblem to Death Company in turn with the story was such a cool little detail!
I was gripped by every minute of this story. Thankyou so much for amazing content, I'm sure it takes a lot of work behind the scenes.
I know it's a big one and its gonna take a while AND its probably been asked but...are you doing Emp vs Horus? I cant fucking wait to hear "It's not your fathers power, it's what He does with it" followed with that epic "it's not your fathers power, it's how he STEALS IT!!!!!" in your voice!!!
I absolutely plan on doing so, indeed!
Though as you say it is a rather large part of that book so getting all of the segments in order alone is going to take a bit of planning, then the logistics and editing beyond that.
I will almost certainly get to it eventually, mind you!
My thanks for watching!
i love how dramatic Angron's battles and moments are!
great content, surely one of the best I've heard! didn't skip a thing from start to finish.
well done Sir! liked and subbed!

The Blood Angel symbol returning as Angron sees the beauty return in rage for the right reasons...fantastic.
I hope you do the Emperor vs Horus.

I forgot to add the reaver titan
I needed this.
