I have to say, this is a LOT shorter, and MUCH MUCH MUCH more instructive than many animal shelter videos. I can't tell you how many 6, 12, and 20 minute videos you can watch and not understand what the materials are, or how theire building was put together! Nicely done!
I like the design. I have Boer goats and they are rough on their possessions. I would add a 2x6 at goat shoulder height, horizontal along the walls. They like to rub and push against walls. They also take great joy smashing each other into the walls until the nails or screws pop out of the plywood.
I built something similar. However I had the roof go the other direction. So that all the roof drain to one of the short sides. What I’m going to call the rear. And the roof extended over probably 6 inches past the building. And then that’s where I put the water. Whenever there was a rain it would fill up the water. From time to time I move the structure around in the paddock. With this being on skids. I also don’t get taxed for a building. If I built them an actual building our county with tax us
How much open space are you allowing between the 2x4” studs attached to skid runners on each side of the structure? Is space 1&1/2”, 3/4”, or 1/2” or less!
I'm considering building something similar. Looks like this video is about a year old at this point. Now that you've had some time to live with your build, is there anything you would've done differently? Thanks!
It's held up perfectly. I added large eyebolts to one end (the outside) to help move it around with the UTV...I run a rope through the eye bolts an drag it. The feces and mud build up inside so I have moved it about 3 or 4 times.

Excellent video, wish I was younger and still had goats. I love the music also. Thanks Greg.
Bev Austin I'm getting older myself, but I'm pushing through and using the body while I can! And you're just a sweet young thing so hush!

Thank you for sharing!
best Sheep Shelter Video.
Looks nice. I think putting another board in the front, lessing opening size, would allow for an area against wind & rain.
I’m going to do this, but with pallets
Video is my best birthday ever so far and it has to be one u u was
I love it! ❤
Nice shed.
Have a materials list?
How do you move it? Would’ve been nice to see it
Can you tell me what size of boards did you use for the shed. Especially interested in the size of board used for the skid. Please and thank you!
What was the paint you added? Is there a purpose besides looks? It looks great. I need to build a house for my goats
Do you have a materials list or blue print. I need to put one up quick.

Can you tell me all the materials I need to get to build this
Is there a schematic you used for this build? If there is could you please share it?
What was the corner trim used for? What time stamp depicts it? Hoping to duplicate this tomorrow for my goats
You have a material list
Hi - Nice video. What is the height (1) at the opening, and (2) at the rear?

How much is cost totally?
How heavy is it? Pull by hand or lawn tractor
Simple Homestead pretty heavy. Lawn mower or atv or small tractor
Are you a relation of the comedian Richard Pryor?
