    We've bought 2 of these recently and have done a few videos. Absolutely fantastic. Finishing them out as 9x9 stalls with a stable style front.

    As one who dealt with the assessor's office a lot, this is entirely taxable where I live. Not that anything this small with no floor, no electric, and no doors or windows would be valued high enough to generate more than a few bucks in property taxes.
    "But it's moveable!"
    So is your house. When it leaves the property, give the county assessor a call.

      Products and services should be the only taxable things. Taxing the same property perpetually every year means you’re renting your property from the government after you bought it. That’s not justice that’s stealing. So it’s understandable when people don’t want to deal with bureaucratic BS.

      @@alive_twicedead_once34I'm no fan of property taxes, but it helps to know the facts. I'd personally prefer to pay taxes based on the government services I participate in (roads, defense, fair trade...), but that's not going to happen as long as the government keeps growing at every level.

    • @tylers7390

      @@saltylikesalineicurnwhere I live the county assessor has the right by law to enter a private property in order to appraise value for property tax purposes (ad valorem). Refusal of entry means you forfeit your option to appeal the assessed value and classification, which will no doubt be higher than necessary since they are forced to make "extraordinary assumptions" about the property.
      However, there is something to be said about keeping your mouth shut. 😉

      Wouldn't need in most situations but they sale anchors that your drive into the ground and can use cable to anchor it to mainly used for plastic shed or thin metal frame ones

  • @jeremiahwilson5

    How big can you build something like this? I live in nc not much wind. Way easier than digging holes, I feel like you could pin the skids to the ground with rebar and build it pretty big, especially with any interior walls or knee braces to brace the long walls in the middle

    • @Polebarnshops
      @Polebarnshops  Год назад +1

      Wind will blow it over (with greater size) if you don’t attach to the ground. (Which you know) We keep it at 9x18 7’ because of hauling reasons.

      Yeah I’d like to hear the cost as well. Cause a similar material wise it’s about the same as a pole shed. 2x6 stacked x3 is at minimum same cost as a comparable 6x6. I don’t really see where the savings is coming from.

    • @tylers7390

      I like the color combination. Looks awesome! One thing..Maybe I missed it in the video, but shouldn’t the front 6x6 be on piers/concrete blocks or at least Tuff Block. Termites and rot preventative also.
