  • In this fun tutorial, I show you how to make a realistic spaghetti cake with a floating fork! This cake is so much easier to create than it looks. If fondant isn't your thing, pipe that frosting onto the cake using a #5 piping tip. Check below for more food videos!

      Now I definitely know what Crisco is. I had no idea it was called Trex in Great Britian, I've officially learned something new today :D Thanks for sharing.

    Looks so real! Nice work! I need to make a “food cake” as I have never made one. I have the push extruder and it’s a pain. I grease the inside very liberally and I have a much better outcome using it.

      I didn't think to grease the extruder, thanks for the tip! Food cakes are so much, you should definitely try it out. The best part for me is confusing and tricking my family with them.

    I had my daughter clean up my things after I did a cake and she didn't realize there was still fondant left in it. I threw it out but the plus side was I found an extruder on Amazon that has a solid crank on it and it's so much easier to use. Love the cake and you are on point with your weight loss. Looking FABULOUS!!!

      Well that's a plus! She said, nope Mom, we've got to get better. I was too excited when I found this one because I had been using a push version also. That was a no-go. And thank you so very much. I can't believe the weight is coming off, but looking back at last years' vids, huge difference.

    Hi Marissa, the extruder works easier if you put trex in the fondant. Xx

      I've never heard of trex, but will look it up! Thanks so much.

    Looks amazing 😉, but don’t the ‘meatballs’ taste oily?

    • @Marishascakes
      @Marishascakes  5 лет назад +1

      They don't just because the cake wasn't covered with anything, so the oil soaked into the cake leaving a sheen. It was already super moist with oil in the batter - so it just tastes like decadent choco cake :D I'm sure piping gel would also work.

    What food color brand did you use?

    • @Marishascakes
      @Marishascakes  5 лет назад

      For the red and maroon, I used Wilton's brand.
