Great match, arguably the greatest ever played, even though it is very annoying not being able to see the colors clearly...have to wait and see what ball they set up or prepare to hit next...that takes a lot out of the pleasure of watching this.
if someone could digitally remaster this 10 hour mammoth of a game, it would be amazing.
i always preferred Efren to Earl...just because Earl strikes me as such a sleazy pool hustler/shark and Efren is such a nice, quiet dude but deadly assassin on the pool table.
Both players are my favorite I can't even support one of them they make it look so easy to the point where you'd think that playing pool is the most easiest game ever but what they do is extremely difficult and requires a special skills and experience I love watching these tow legends
This match is a holy text of Billiards, to be studied for years and years.

Dayam what a great match. I've seen teasers for this match in the past. Thanks for the uploads IPM.
I wonder if the cameraman, since this event, has figured out that a ball rolling across the table with nothing else in the frame doesn't quite tell the whole story.
It seems like many camerapeople don't have much appreciation for whatever they are shooting.
It would've been 5 times better with ONLY the hard camera at the rack end of the table. I prefer to see the whole table during the whole duration of the shot. Til all balls come to rest bare minimum, then alternate between other angles but no need for a mobile cameraman in pool.
I kept thinking the same thing. It's like the cameraman had never seen the game before. It would be like filming a tennis game, and zooming in on their sneakers.
Es un lujo ver jugar a estas dos leyendas
with all these pretty girls walking around, why are we looking at this guy's rear on every rack
Why do commentators feel they have to predict the shots? Don’t they commentate or make comments on the shots players themselves already decide to shoot? I think this is what commentators should be doing rather than being predictors.
I know what you mean. I like to try to guess and they ruin it for me.
Oh hell yes Reyes

I GOT SUM PRACTISIN TA DO!
DAYAM!
LOL

2024!
Earl is certainly in his comfort zone here....no obnoxious hecklers to deal with ....or other distractions...
I'm just glad american crowds now are so old they dont have the energy to be a pain in the ass
He's earned those hecklers dislike because of his attitude.

This match would be extraordinarily classy if it weren't for Strickland's adolescent personality. He's a smart ass, whereas Reyes is all class.
Awkward intro to the second night
Am I tedious?
I feel sorry for both refs, I'm sure the first one quit after the first session due to his unnecessary outbursts

:4:40 no way this is possible. (5/10/22
13:25 woot
14:16 how is it possible to masse such a ball?? so close to the rail
20:20 those angles !!
That’s not a masse, it’s a sharp cut… the shot is uncommon but not extremely rare. Still nice though…
@@KvnDWr the shot before that. It was on the point
I just keeping asking “ how do he do that “ lol
Strickland is so annoying. Efren didn’t give a fck if it was racked right or what. He just shoots
Anyone know the dimensions of these pockets? They look loose. And they're just running through it like hot knife and butter.
Looks like a standard gold crown so between 4.5-5 inches more than likely
@@swamiward5625 Wasn't 4.75's pretty standard for gold crowns? 5's would be egregious
When that match first started, Strickland took a 17 game lead and by the end of the night Efron came back and beat him, and Strickland wouldn’t even congratulate him when it was over no class
The guy with the mustache gets the 8..
I don't get it
Me neither. What?
You mean as a handicap?
You're talking about "Mr. E", right?
They both have a mustache... 😉

STOP SAYING TREMENDOUS!!!
This guy Earl sometimes is so unpleasant that it diminishes his standing. His pool skills seem to shut off his social skills. He's also very disrespectful and hostile. It diminishes the pleasure of the matches for me.
I've only discovered Strickland recently, as I haven't been hip to pro pool. I can see he was an asshole then too, it's not just a factor of age. Well, at least he's consistent.

The commentator is impossible to listen to.
