I have to say that the little tip u gave concerning screws positions when tearing down, must made many happy like me because none of the other videos even bother to share that and focus solely on the phone. Thank you!
I purposely chose this video because all the others were rushed and edited to hell and back with hella music or inconsistencies. It worked in the end, so fucking happy dude. I didn't put the water resistance cause I plan to do that within the next 30 days but I wanna get my hands on one of those devices so I can restore the true tone and transfer over the serial number from the official broken LED tbh. When I resell it i dont want to have to deal with people asking why there's an error in the OS settings menu. The toughest part tbh was moving that Ear Speaker Flex Cable part, cause the ribbons as you said, were very fragile. I thought I messed up big time at some point cause there was a slight crease I left in one of the ribbons from being a little rough, trying to pull the pieces up by lifting the ribbon but nah, I'm good. I set up Face ID and everything in settings, and front camera and speaker are working as usual. I cannot agree more with uploader. TAKE. THINGS. SLOW. Get a magnifying glass if you have to, it helped me at times! Trust me! Or better yet, some zoom in goggle type glasses. I forget the name but I have some of those two and they have LEDs on the left and right side of the glasses, but i couldnt find them tonight. This was my first time repairing a phone. It was a bit nerve wracking but I just took it the way I'm confident with building and repairing/doing maintenance on my gaming PC.
@@dackselectronicrepair I am replying to you right now, on that very phone! It’s been working great. I can’t believe I didn’t need to dish out like $200+!
Where do you recommend, we source brand new iPhone 11 Batteries? I ask because I've had mine since 2019 and it's saying I should "Get it serviced by Apple" cause it's SIGNIFICANTLY degraded or whatever lol. We all know we ain't about that life. (JUST replaced my screen successfully thanks to you!)
If you mean can you just switch screens without swapping the front facing assemblies the answer is yes, BUT you will lose your face id functionality. The front facing sensors are digitally paired to each specific iPhone. I believe they can be reprogrammed by Apple or with a special device but I have not done either to confirm. Luckily the front facing cameras are not actually mounted to the screen like they have been in the past so replacing the screen does not affect those.
It goes away on the lock screen after 4 days and in settings after 15. It will still show if you look under About Phone in Settings but keep in mind these messages don't affect the functionality of the screen at all.
It really depends on which phone you are working on. For iPhones I primarily use Evolve screens as I have found they are best and most reliable. They are not the cheapest but they make the customer happy and that is what counts.
LCD & Frame Assembly for Apple iPhone 11 (Evolve Incell, COF IC Ready) i found this. is that it? I bought a aftermarket from Amazon by the name of LLTRADER which sounds cheap but the reviews were some of the best, and it had the backplates and camera bracket pieces, I also heard from people that the display at least LOOKED like the OEM genuine screens from apple and honestly I think I agree. It also ended up having 60 FPS capabilities so that was a nice surprised. I was hoping I didn't get an awesome looking screen with a 30 frame per second limit, yikes, that would've been horrible. Anyway yeah it was only $28 or so after taxes. Now to see if it lasts. Damn. @@dackselectronicrepair
I did everything the exact way you explained and when I put the new screen on and turned on the phone it just keeps flashing the screen on and off showing the apple logo.
You don't, only Apple can remove it. The warning does go away after 15 days and it doesn't affect anything as far as the phone is concerned. I just tell my customer about it beforehand. It is just another way Apple is trying to make it harder for us small shops to repair their stuff.

were u able to restore the true tone feature?
No, I do not have the machine that does that. I just make my customer aware of that issue.

My favorite supplier is wholesalegadgetparts.com. I get most of my parts from them, great prices and the best quality I have found.
Can I use another iPhone 11 without having to change camera and stuff

Welp looks like I gotta do that part too I need my face id
does the screen message abt it not being genuine still pop up , or did get rid of that?

How did you type the Apple logo
Can I drain the battery before it dead so I don’t remove the battery
You don't have to remove the battery, just unplug the battery from the motherboard.
BIG BROTHER PLEASE SUGGEST ME GOOD DISPLAY FOLDER FOR IPHONE 11 ON AMAZON❤
I use the website www.mobilesentrix.com.
what brand replacement screen do you recommend?

My metal bracket disconnected from my screen. What do i do to remove it so I can access the battery
You should be able to pry it up and out with a plastic tool.
best video i have never seen, keep your good work
Wow, thanks!
please type screwdriver?? small screw thanks
The smallest screw on the screen is a tri-tip.
Use only screwdriver with magnetic
I did everything the exact way you explained and when I put the new screen on and turned on the phone it just keeps flashing the screen on and off showing the apple logo.
The apple boot loop usually means the battery is not connected properly or is bad
Now how do u get rid of the setting notification saying apple as detected a wrong part fitted to the phone.

Price?
I charge 159.99 plus tax for an iPhone 11 screen replacement currently.
I love you 🥹🫶🏽
That is very nice, thank you!
