Wow this was great!!! Jack killed it…the band of girls killed it! Bravo 👏 👏 👏 fantastic performance! You can tell Jack was very keen, watchful when it came to every musician that played for this show. Jack White exemplifies high standards when it comes to his recordings and his live performances…he always has. Excellent.
oh, he came to Russia recently! were you at the concert??? it was incredible!!!! it was so beautiful and unforgettable that I've been just rewatching all of his video for these days

This performance just blew me away, with the amazing talented female band, just incredible support! I loved all girls but, the drummer, the pianist and background vocal black woman OMG speechless. "Blunderbuss" supreme rock and roll-blues record. STANDING O
Jack does it again...rock music is once again elevated to an art form...talent and imagination to spare...Mr. White takes us on the best musical trip since ACID was legal...and where in the hell did you find that drummer...Keith Moon reborn!!!!!
Who cares if they are sexy or how sexy they are?? They're all playing with Jack White and playing awesome music -- which makes them f---- cool. Love this.
I've been following Jack White III for a long time now this incarnation is one of my definite favorites ,also he was so lucky IMO to work with Carla Azar as a Drumer a woman so creative she makes her own clothes!!! (shout out to Autolux fans waiting for new music from her other job) I think Jack White fans can call this the< blue period> . Jack is just hands down one of the most prolific authentic rock artists ....from now too never from here too for ever
I think she must be jazz trained .when she plays side stick...then her drums sound at times to sound like canons ...real cool. I hope there will be another Autolux album out soon I know they have been travelling everywhere cheers...
+Chad Lott She did play with The Blue Devils which is like top tier, World Class level marching band. Since 1975, the corps has placed outside of the top three only seven times, never finishing lower than fifth.
@Maikis in Blockchains Jack is certainly better. His way of adding little things that mean a lot, that give a beat that extra spice...love him drumming!
@@ionneifion2012 Yeaaaah... I wouldn't go that far. Jack's great and all, but Carla was a session player for T-Bone Burnett at half the age of the people she was playing with.. all before she was in Autolux. There's a reason guys like Jack, Josh Homme, and PJ Harvey all want to work with her.
the order of song's is wrong. anyway love, love interruption " I want a love to roll me over slowly-stick a knife inside me and twist it all around" best opening lyric's to date!!!!!EVER!!!!!!!!!
And here we are almost 8 years later and you were right, he is still rocking it hard around the world at the top of his game! Raconteurs show in LA this summer was a face melter :)
@@MrWhoevr Carla was Jeff Buckley's muse early on. They went to the same music school in California I believe it was. There is something about Jack and Meg that can't be replaced.
This is the first time I’ve watched this show. Never realized how great The Peacocks were! Carla and Brooke in particular are beasts on their instruments they’re so good! I feel Lillie Mae shined the most in the Lazaretto band. Ruby is a fantastic singer, Bryn and Maggie also rule and add a nice touch with the standup bass and lap steel!💙
It’s a fact that he’s both the Third man and 7th son! I love Jack White, no matter which band he plays with but I think that I’m partial to these ladies, the Peacocks and The Raconteurs. They light it on fire 🔥 ❤️
I just saw the girls with Jack in Red Rock last week. Absolutely AMAZING!!!! He is everything you would expect and more live. When he played "Cannon" I frigging lost it!
The CONFIDENCE in his backing ladies speaks to both their individual PROFESSIONALISM, and Jack's ability to read and nuture tatent. Fucking Astoundingly AMAZING.
I always have this feeling when I listen to/watch Jack White. It’s a weird feeling that he’s almost too good. He’s too talented. Like we don’t deserve how good he is. It’s almost a nostalgic feeling and it doesn’t matter if the music is new or his older stuff. It’s like he’s not going to live forever and is a really rare talent that there are only a few of in each generation. It makes listening to his music sort of bittersweet and I can’t just enjoy it like a pop song, even though it’s so good. Is there a word for this feeling?
This tour he had an all male band and an all female band tour with him. Every morning he would wake up, eat breakfast, and decide the day of which would play.
He is my man, but in this phase he was a Tim Burton character come to life :) (Speaking of which I've been looking for a Jack related tattoo to get and it may just be a Burton inspired cartoon version of Jack) BTW the concerts at this time were off the chain! These girls rocked hard. Oh and if he's his own art director, additional congrats Jack the set design lighting and outfits are so beautiful. And Ruby Amanfu's makeup is gorgeous!
i LOVE All the different lineups of musicians for the Bands he is in. Great Taste. I'm def. gonna record at his studio. At least 1 or 2 songs for a 45 pressing.
i loved her playing on "Hardest button to button" They played live on Rove in Australia with the white stripes outfit. it was awesome! they were perfect together!
JEBUZ, Jack is clearly some kind of deity. Also the musicians performing with him are fantastic to boot. I have to get tickets to see him. Thanks for the upload!
Dude that drummer is rippin on that first song! she breaks her fricken cymbal! almost everything Jack touches turns to gold. that seems to be the general consensus.
My gut tells me Jack White was in an abusive relationship, and he was the victim. He never retaliated against her; he just left which makes him more of a man and a gentleman, and he should not be ashamed or embarrassed to discuss it. His music allows him to vent his anger, confusion, and hysteria in a very productive financially lucrative manner.
I like that new guitar 🎸. He finally gave up on that cheap red one he used with the WS. This guitar suits him much better! Plus it’s blue which fits in with the color motif.
+Paul Rum sorry i am extremely sarcastic. i was trying to express my love of carla azar only, i don't care much for jack white or the white stripes. i always comment the same way when ever dave grohl comes up, i always say: "hey isn't that the drummer for nirvana?!"
Give the musicians a namecheck please ! They are superb.
THE PEACOCKS
Lillie Mae Rische - Fiddle
Ruby Amanfu - Backing Vocals
Bryn Davies - Upright Bass/Electric Bass
Carla Azar - Drums
Brooke Waggoner - Keyboards/Organs
Maggie Björklund - Pedal Steel Guitar

She could be a marching band girl, too. My friend Tamara has a similar technical boom from drum lines.
+Chad Lott She did play with The Blue Devils which is like top tier, World Class level marching band.

Yes! The Blue Period. I’ve been saying this forever. Jack White is a National Treasure. Thank you Detroit 😘
jack white is one of the best musicians alive, without any doubt.
Carla is amazing

Yeah. She's a regular Neil Peart.
She's a drummer. Drumming.
This man is a rock God come amongst us, and he happened to bring a harem off wonderful musicians as well, all these ladies are amazing!

Not normally one for rating musicians but Carla Azar's gotta be one of the best drummers around these days
yes she is great. I can't decide who I want as a drummer more Meg or Carla. If I had the chance I would have both
I’d go with Meg. She is a muse.
I beg to differ
Oh heck yeah. ruclips.net/video/qLzjZwuRMyY/видео.html

i came her for carla azar, bumped into the amazing mr.white and walked away with more musicians to admire and seek out their work.
ME ENCANTA la sincro que tiene con las mujeres de la banda es como un director de orquesta
Jack White is a musical genius.

Saw this tour in Edinburgh. Having watched the pale blue band for the 6th time, I reckon this is the best Jack White band ever.
He has the most beautiful band in the world.

Yes, yes she is. I am too a drummer and she uses traditional grip which makes her even more beautiful.

Jack keeps rocking it, even while wearing his "mime outfit" and the ladies - WOW!!!
Still, a part of me wishes it was just Meg and Jack again.
I don't know who jack white is but I found this because I looked for Carla Azar. She is awesome.
