Kids, when you see this man in person you are witnessing history. When I was going to the same school as Jack's in Det. The Stones had just released Satanic Majesties' Request. We could and did go see Hendrix at the Grandee for $7. Saw Cream same place, $7. I didn't understand what I was witness to. You are witness to history in seeing Jack White. Appreciate it now.
Now I move onto Los Buzzardos! What a lineup here. We’ve got the always awesome Dominic and Daru for the rhythm section. Cory Younts on backing vocals and guitar who I wish we saw more of. Fats Kaplin is such a great bandmate cause he’s a beast at the lap steel, fiddle and later theremin in the Lazaretto band. As for Ikey Owens, he’s a legend in his own, he was a fantastic keyboard/piano player and just so so good. As a big, albeit recent Mars Volta fan, I’ve only just recently learned how great he really was. Jack was smart in recruiting him in his band, as he’s just a legend. May Ikey Rest In Peace, long live the Buzzards!
I am so in love with this man!!!!! The guys a fucking genius. Great set, his male drummer is amazing!! If he can play the drums, guitar and piano like that just imagine how he can play in the bedroom. Hey there is nothing wrong with imagination!!! I do it often.
Non seulement ce mec est un génie mais il s'entoure en plus de talents extraordinaires de sorte que chaque concert est un moment de grâce absolue! 😍 (Sans parler de ses boots Fluevog qui déchirent!)
Jack defends so fuckin well his music. The whole performance works on perfect proportion: his body lenguage, voice, band, lights, crowd. I wish feel the thrill.
In an interview he said he just decides over breakfast at the day of the gig. He just thinks about what seems right for the place and time, and boom, there ya go.
The recording of him with the female band trumps this one...but that's just the recording. Saw him live with the guys at Firefly and they killed. Absolutely rocked out for an hour and a half. There were times where I felt like I was watching one of those classic Stones or Zep dvds, except it was happening right in front of me. Props to Ikey Owens bringin that Mars Volta game.
Does anyone know how Jack decides whether to go with the girls or the guys? I heard he said it wasn't planned ahead of time and both groups are ready to go and BOTH get paid regardless of which plays. Still, he never said HOW he decided... anyone???
Aw heck, all this idol worship and here I just like the music. It is not heavy or historic, not going to stop a war, or change a bias, yet well, "I know, It's only rock and roll, but I like it." I went to school with many now famous rockers, there from Monmouth County, NJ, and we had these friends, people we partied with. Some became recording artists, others, changed their names to gain perspective. I see that many appreciations are amorous. That is a gas- gas- gas! I remember when rock was about risks and protesting the bias of society. I know many who have seen the risk of playing the dissident music, such as Kwaali, and how much change it brings when Linton Quesi Johnson names names; when Asian Dub Foundation calls out to "Free Satpal Ram". That these songs actually changed laws, policies and people's votes; that is history. Aside from this, I was alive and distraught back in the days, all that Blue Cheer, all that Purple Haze. The parties and the easy ways became the cause and most lost any other focus. I have been told that we are drugged with suds and spin by governments, yet that was then. Now we do this to each other and our selves. Nah. I don't feel much substantial echos of changing the world or people's hearts with this music. Yet I love it. I read here, "kids" this is "history" and I smile and giggle a bit. I must say, these days, the "kids" are deadly and "history" is "all the news that's fit to print." Suds and spin, the cycle we are in, the mirror behind us -it grins. Nah, nothing world shaking here. Great music and we all know that effect can spread the legs like margarine. Thank you Jack, it is a gas- gas- gas!

Does anyone know how Jack decides whether to go with the girls or the guys? I heard he said it wasn't planned ahead of time and both groups are ready to go and BOTH get paid regardless of which plays. Still, he never said HOW he decided... anyone???

Damn, where did he get that jacket?
i think i like his 'boy' band more than his female one... he's more neat when with them :)
I have to disagree :D
fuck yEAAH
i love him but i wish i could tell him the makeup is a bad look
creo que "boring" no es la palabra, quizá es mas "exhausting" por el ruidoso sonido de la guitarra por casi 2 horas :/
What a steaming pile ...
Of Jealousy i think...lol
why imagine when you can make it a reality ever herd of rape? =] lol
