I took the Anne bit off of my name after watching a video that spooked me about not putting your real name in your RUclips name, anyway, its still me even though I altered it slightly. Hope you're having a wonderful day❤ Oh and I bought you some smoothies lol!
Thank you Laura for another brilliant tutorial. I know what you mean about discovering a better method of doing things, the tapered shapes using triangles. The lesson learnt is so much better when you figure it out for yourself. Of course we are so happy you passed your experience on to us. 😊
I continue to be so amazed and enchanted with your skills! Just incredibly! Thanks much! If you celebrate - happy holidays to you and yours. 💙 Kathleen
I’m so glad you’ll give them a try! Yes, I think they’re pretty fun to make. Especially since you can make them different each time. Lots of variety. Thank you for your response about the glue! It really put my mind at ease. I would feel horrible if I thought I had recommended something that could cause harm to people or pets.
Table leg perfection. I am always amazed with your patience and creativity. You are so kind to make templates to share. Merry Christmas to you and your family!🎄
Absolutely incredible! I've shared some of your videos with my husband, his mouth just drops open. He's amazed at your creativity and how easy you make it look! You've made Monday's so much fun! I look forward to more in the coming year! Thanks so much for sharing everything you do! Have a blessed Christmas!
You need to calm down because you've given me so many projects to do and I have a random assortment of parts for a dollhouse I haven't even started! Lol, thank you so much for such a beautiful tutorial as always, I can't wait to give these a try.
I love all your tutorials as you know Laura and its just brilliant because you can adapt them to any size you are working in. Its great! In case I dont get another chance, have a wonderful festive season Laura and I wish you and yours a healthy, happy New Year ❤
@@Foxiepawstotti Thank you for your very kind compliment! I’m so glad you find them adaptable. I hope you and your family have a safe, festive Christmas and New Year as well!! 🎄❤️
This is wonderful! Furniture legs and other parts seem so difficult to make with everyday materials and tools. Your tutorials are so amazing. As always, thank you for sharing!❤
They are so beautiful! No clumsy straight or boring round tablelegs anymore! They're adding such a charmful detail to a simple table, making it a special piece out of it!
Those spindle legs look gorgeous ❤ I just got a thought 🤔What if you made a mold for the spindle legs just like you did the last video, and put a toothpick in the middle not a q-tip because that will bend with the moisture from the clay 😊 you think that might work?
Kara we think a lot alike. 😆 I was thinking that very same thing. Except I think a toothpick is to thick. I was thinking more along the lines of wire. Like 12 gauge wire?? I just worry that pulling it out of the mold each time (with it being a longer piece) would distort it too much.
@ what if you kept the two parts of molding apart and just made the indentation of the wire on both sides and let it dry in the mold and then glue the wire and the mold pieces together 🤔 there is the issue of shrinking, but I think if you put toilet paper in your clay like I did, that will eliminate a lot of the shrinking😁 it’s worth a try!!
I really like these, they look just as good as anything that you can buy. Thank you so much for sharing your amazing ideas with all of us and also your patterns! Now, all I need is more time to try all your wonderful techniques!
@@Lauras-tinyview I really want to try a lot of your things, I just need time, Maybe after New Years and my schedule goes back to normal. Thank you again for sharing your wonderful talent.
Lovely work as always. I do have a request. Please stop using Gorilla Glue. It continues to expand even when it has dried and is re-introduced to moisture. This can be extremely dangerous if it is ingested. Why is this an issue? Dogs go absolutely bonkers over the stuff, wet or dry. According to our emergency vet it kills dogs on a regular basis in the most horrible manner. So please, please, please stop using it, stop showing it, say it does matter what kind of glue you choose and pass the word along. We have responsibilities as teachers. Thank you.
Laura uses Gorilla Wood Glue which is a PVA water based glue, it isn't the kind that expands when in contact with moisture. It is Gorilla Glue that is the diisocyanate glue which expands when in contact with moisture.
Thank for bringing this to my attention. I hadn’t heard about this before. Even though I’m using the PVA water based wood glue from Gorilla brand like gaynortaylor38 mentioned, I won’t be showing my bottle anymore. I feel that’s best so as not to cause confusion and someone may accidentally buy the non-PVA glue by mistake.

@ or maybe not pull it out of the mold but push them and tap the halves out of the mold🤔
@@karakreations1103 Great ideas! I could even use polymer clay and bake it in the mold. That way no shrinkage.
