Laura what you do with paper and cardboard is real artistry! And the fact that you share your fun and delight with the finished product is a real joy. Thank you.
That turned out great! It looks like the same one in my grandparents house!! I look forward to Monday to see what you're going to share! This is an excellent example of your gift!!
Thank you!! This was the kind of potbelly stove I wanted for the General Store. One that lit up. But I didn’t think it would be possible then. So glad I tried it.
I grew up with a big coal stove like this. Fell and burnt my hand once and had a blister. My mom made me hold my hand to the stove to help it heal from the heat. Anyone remember that very false old wives tale? lol, good job recreating this very realistic stove. I love your commentary too!
Thank you! I used to do that too. Starting a RUclips channel changed that for me. I get so much done now. 😆 Otherwise I wouldn’t have any content. 😂 😂 It’s also a good way to document my work too. Thank you for watching!
That's adorable! It's not made of paper, but my favorite stove pipe material is bendable plastic straw painted black, and fit into homemade black paper tubes with some banding. It added just the right touch to my tiny cast iron stove! I'll have to go back and age it a bit after seeing yours ❤
Love it! I just visited my local indoor flea market and found a set of cast iron salt and pepper shakers shaped like little stoves. Not sure if they’re the right scale so I may end up making one. Thanks for sharing!❤
Thank you! I had some cast iron salt and pepper shakers when I was a little girl and used it with my Barbie’s. I think were actually to small for them but I loved them anyway.
Oh my goodness Laura you really are amazing! A potbelly stove is on my very long To Do list for the gnomehome, I thought I might try to use a pill bottle or something for the body. But I will have to try and remember what I've learned from you when the time comes!

I love this little stove! It is amazing what you can make with just some scraps and a tea light!
Thank you!! This was the kind of potbelly stove I wanted for the General Store. One that lit up. But I didn’t think it would be possible then. So glad I tried it.
Wow so realistic, I love it, the aging really emphasized the details and the light has a lovely warm glow.

This was wonderful! i had been looking at several tea lights wondering how to use them as fire! this was GREAT!!
I’m so glad you found it helpful! It’s funny I bought them before I started my channel, it took me two years to finally try them.

Thank you! I have never heard of that wives tale before. Yes good thing we don’t have to do that anymore. 😬😳
What a lovely potbelly stove ❤ I especially liked how you made the chimney pipe curve🥰
Thank you Kara! It was super challenging and very messy. 😂What I did record you couldn’t tell what was going on except glue and hands! 😂😂😂
