Hi Laura I don't know if anybody suggested this to you yet or not but if you moisten the coffee filter it's easier to get pastel look when you're painting. I just use a spray bottle. It was a fabulous tutorial and I can't wait to try out your method, especially using the rope instead of wire because I'm like you I have trouble getting things to stick to the wire. I really loved your method because you didn't use a paper punch you just used scissors; good on you, you're so clever. I always love your videos! Have a Merry Christmas girl! ❤️
@@Lauras-tinyview I also wanted to tell you if you ever decide to use gouache instead of watercolour that unlike watercolour gouache will reactivate again if it gets wet so you would have to seal it if you don't want it to do that just FYI💕

The peonies looks very beautiful. Using thread instead of iron, I think I will try that it is a good idea. I use thread for very small flowers, but never did for bigger ones. Thank you for sharing.

I have made so many flowers in the past and had to reglue the flower head back on when using wire. Since I can’t use super glue this way has really helped them to stay glued.

For words that you don’t know the proper pronunciation you can google, “how to pronounce” and then type the word you want to pronounce. It’s that easy to learn how to pronounce a word. I use it quite often. I hope that helps you. I would love to see a close picture of what shape the flowers were before you started putting them together. You just make the most beautiful things. Your idea of using string for the stems instead of wires is genius, paper doesn’t stick that well to wire 😂
