I also live in Florida and just purchased 2 of these this year. One I've had a few months and is planted off the front of my front porch which gets a good amount of sunlight but also some shade and it's doing great! This one and the other one I just bought are both that "Hot magenta" color. LOVE them. Thank you for this very informational video!
My penta basket will not take full sun and 105F summertime heat. I do partial to full shade. They do great. Looking to propagate. Thank you for the video.
Looks like instead of a n horticulturist u should be a physician,,,because ur care for the plants and u r clarity on the subject and explanation wud also make not only plants but wilting humans ,,,,bounce back to life All the best 👍 Continue u r wonderful Sojourn
Hi, have you ever tried growing fuschia flower. Do you think it will survive the hot and humid climate of Mangalore. I find those flowers really beautiful, but don't know if they'll survive here.
Thank you for this video. One question, assuming the plant lasts through a Bangalore winter, should we repot them? I bought mine from a nursery along with the pot and that's where it's been all this while.
Pair give some important tips for roses and hibiscus because I love this flowers very much .I love gardening very much want beginning terrece garden flower with vegetables with pure organic 🙏🙏🙏
I have one query......i repot my beautiful baby pentas....with a soil not add any other compost or garden soil...and after then...my baby pentas become so wither and turning yellowing leafs flowers too.......what should i do...to save my pentas before die
@@Urbanscapegardening can I repot them again....... because my pentas look like just waiting to die .....a day before yesterday I repot them.....and today my baby look like no energy in it
@@Urbanscapegardening until how much..... because I scared my baby won't be die..so soon.....I m scared of my pentas health.....so I should not to repot... because you know better than me
I don't find seeds in it to be honest...or they aren't very significant... sometimes I see new saplings growing on it own so it could be a self seeder...not sure about that so much
Lots of plants but all sickly-looking. There are big limitations to gardening in pots. Even the pothos and monstera on the desk look bad. And why preach to people about covid as if we don't know, lol!
I love this plant. 😊
Thanks Layana☺️ long time no see

I tried growing mine in blore but I guess would be difficult in solace like Mangalore...but no harm in trying 👍

No don't repot it....when you see the lower leaves become black in color...cut it down real hard and also take cuttings just in case...
@@Urbanscapegardening got it, thank you!
Should i propagate it when its flowering

Ya that's the most horrible part of RUclips it acts ver strange at times
Dip the cuttings in Indole Butyric Acid powder. It will root in 10 days. IBA is a root promoter.
