Fall Knitting Plans - my (overly ambitious) project goals + the yarns I'll use

I’m sharing all of my Fall 2024 knitting plans! I am hoping to make 4 adult sweaters, 3 kid sweaters, 1 pair of socks, and potentially an accessory set. I also want to completely re-organize my stash and my sweater storage! This is absolutely an overly ambitious list, but I’m going to do my best to work through as much as I can this fall.

Tremont Cardigan in Brooklyn Tweed Loft

Notes: planning to modify the fit to have a shorter length and reduce (or omit) the crossover amount.
Quotidian Tee in Purl Soho Linen Quill

Notes: Planning to work short sleeve and straight body options in the pattern with a few modifications: standard 1x1 rib hem, i-cord trim at neck, and maybe also i-cord trim at sleeves.
Other patterns mentioned: there are so many great handknit tee shirt patterns out there! I had been considering making the Cumulus Tee from PetiteKnit, the Tolsta Tee by Rebecca Clow of the CreaBea, or Slightly Sassy V from Aimee Sher Makes. I think I might work up one of these in the future!

TBD Sweater in Brooklyn Tweed Shelter
Pattern: Considering making a Plinth Sweater (new design, pattern to be released this fall), but may scrap those plans entirely. But I absolutely want to work up a sweater in this yarn very soon!

Pattern: new design, planning to release the pattern early next year assuming everything goes without a hitch!

Pattern: new design, would hope to release this in time for holiday knitting.
Yarns: fully TBD at this point, but planning to use stash yarns!

Full Stash Review & Reorganization
Current status: Chaos thanks to knitting for 15+ years and baby thinking that take yarn out of bins is a very fun game
Goal: Review what I have, keep what I love, and reorganize so I can easily find the beautiful things I already have
Sweater Storage Revamp
Current status: hanging cardigans, pullovers in cedar chest
Goal: Install open shelving in closet for in-season knits, out of season in cedar chest
