  • This video introduces the method of whole-life costing using the example of a Lamborghini Urus in a really easy to understand way.
After defining what whole-life cost models, also known as total cost of ownership models, are about, it discusses how such models can be built for personal vehicles (or anything else!).
It shows how this starts with the selection of a useful figure of merit and the identification of the relevant life cycle elements. The model is build in US dollars using real cost data and estimates for the United Kingdom.
A detailed description of the model and all data sources at the time of publication can be downloaded as a pdf file here:

Meh… has the same chassis and engine of the Audi Rs Q8 for $100k more. No thanks. Audi bought Lamborghini years ago.
I believe you excluded maintenance costs, like diagnostics, oil, filters, etc which are approx $1500-$2000 and must be done annually. Assume it’s driven normally, you won’t need 4 new tires or brakes in 3yrs, otherwise that’s another whopping $4k for the tires and more for new brakes pads.

And then if you get hit and it wasn't your fault you will more than likely have diminished value because now the paints been broken and repairs made. Some states you can go after the person for diminished value and some you cant. A bad wreck could really make it depreciate
