Rather than languishing in jail for months or years (eventual guilt or innocence irrelevant), I think that's a little more in line with what our forefathers had in mind when they wrote the words "..right to a speedy and public trial.." in this nation's Bill of Rights.
That's the one that left me in tears when I saw it. Dan was trying to catch a plane and the guy comes walking out real slow. Couldn't stop laughing.....
I suspect that most likely they did film it in a straight 25 seconds as you can see them cut between shots meaning the could film Judge Stones lines first then Dan and Christians lines each separately. Then all you do is edit then together and it looks like acted the scene for a straight 25 seconds.
@@FomorViceroy Yes, I know but that doesn’t mean that what you see in clip was filmed it all in one single take. They still could have filmed at least several takes of this scene and edited the good parts of them together so it looks like they got it 100% correct in a single take.
The opening of “Another Day In The Life” was very funny when Dan Fielding does those impressions of “The Three Stooges” the moment Mac mentions Manny, Mo and Carla.
@@GenGamesUniverse Oops! My bad. You're right-He did say freebie. Dan Fielding-A real wham, bam, thank you, Ma'am kind of a guy! He really was a snivelling pile of Tweed, wasn't he?!?
Night Court - S05E16 - Another Day in the Life
The comic timing on this show was IMPECCABLE. The whole cast played off each other so well!

"Freebie?" "Forget it." hahaha thanks for posting!
26 lines from five characters in 15 seconds! Night Court FTW!
nbc Thursday night lineup in the 80s was great, Cosby, family ties, cheers, and night court
The best part is that Roz is just carrying her for the whole scene lol
And it gets even funnier when you realize how easy she made it look! I know Roz is supposed to be tough but WOW!
@@leaderstragg I think in reality it was a man dressed to represent Roz; I don't think it was actually her.
@@dropkickmurphy4114 no, that was really her. Lol.
Well, she does have the right to a speedy trial.
Right to a speedy trial? Challenge accepted! :D
it amazing they did all that in 25 seconds now that acting people

@@Charlesb88Incorrect. It’s a multi-camera sitcom.

John Larroquette was awesome!!!
Even when asking for a "quickie", only for her to tell him "Forget it"!

Dan: Why Sointley
LOL!!!!
That’s pretty impressive rapid fire
25 seconds but it probably took an hour to film. That means Warfield had to hold that woman for a long time.
Got to love Dan. My hero!
Freebie? ROTFLMFAO How can you not love Dan?
Now that puts a new spin on the term "Fast acting"!!! Hilarious, too, especially when Dan asks "Quickie"? She looks at him, and says "Forget it"!
He doesn't say Quickie, he says "Freebie?"
XTheVideoGamerGirlX With Dan it probably be a quickie.

Brevity at its finest.
Even Judge Duty never worked that fast.
Is it me or should every xase in the american judicial system be this quick
I've heard of a right to a speedy trial, but that one broke the sound barrier!
So that's what tbey mean by a "speedy trial"

And I thought the Wiley E. Coyote case was the fastest.
