    That is truly a PERFECT gel polish application! I watched some other video last night that _claimed_ to be the "perfect" method, but she left a 3 millimeter unpolished border all the way around her cuticles, sidewalls and all the way to the LONG tips! I couldn't believe how ghastly it looked when she was done! Of course the comments were about 95% negative and she had the nerve to JUSTIFY leaving that much space around her cuticles and sidewalls! It rather looked like she had polished her nails in front of a firing squad, ready to fire if she got any polish on her skin. It was crazy. If she were my manicurist I'd fire her! On the other hand, if YOU were my manicurist I'd NEVER leave, my butt would be in you chair every 2 to 3 weeks come hell or high water, and I'd talk you up on Yelp! and every other form of social media out there. Your attention to detail makes YOU a GREAT manicurist!

    The first time I used gel polish on my nails didn’t go so well, the next day the polish was peeling off even after using the Light the polish was still wet a little bit, so last night I came up with a idea to try the “Clear Fast Gel which is just a normal polish but has a sticky base to it, i took the shine off the nails and then I painted the gel polish on I cured it under the light for 60s and used the fast clear gel and also cured that for 60s two time and the fast clear gel polish will dry in seconds. I would highly recommend this it works. If you are anyone that experienced this or if you experienced it many times I would definitely highly recommend this method 😘

    • @PaulinasPassions
      @PaulinasPassions  6 лет назад +3

      You are right, I've noticed that too! There are some dry top coats that are more flexible. For example Tip Top from Indigo - I'm sure other brands have them too right now. I also love using it, because you can apply a thin layer and the application is still very smooth.

Once you cure your top coat you should wait minimum 1 minute for the top to cool down before wiping the dispersion layer off. This rule should also be applied to no-wipe top coats without a dispersion layer. Just let your nails cool down after lamp to remain the shine and gloss. Hope this helps.

      @PaulinasPassions  6 лет назад +1

      The problem is probably not your lamp (although I do recommend a strong LED lamp to avoid gel related allergies). Did you make sure to remove your cuticle? The nail plate must be spotless and any oil must be removed. You can also try buffing your nail at the cuticles slightly more.

    • @b0nduelle68

      I will let you know how it's doing with the buffing :)

      It does smell VERY slightly when it's uncured (nothing comparing to regular nail polish). Once you cure it in the lamp, it doesn't smell at all.

Your nails are gorgeous, I’ve order some bits to do my own nails and on the gel bottom and top coat description it says I need to wipe the top sticky layer off with nail cleanser, I’ve been googling and can’t find if you can use nail varnish remover or not? Do you know what I could use? Thanks 💖💖

    • @PaulinasPassions
      @PaulinasPassions  3 года назад

      You can use them, but not directly before applying the gel. Your nail plate should be dry and cuticle removers will likely leave some moisture on your nail.

    • @janineweller8371
      @janineweller8371 3 года назад +1

      You need acetone polish remover , cotton balls , orange stick which is a wooden nail stick , nail file or electric file , you can use tin foil to hold the cotton balls on or get nail clips . also good to have cuticle or olive oil to help strengthen your nails once the gel is off . Nail clips are better then foil in my opinion.with your nail file or electric file gently take off the shine of your nails. Don’t go down to your layer of your nail or you will damage your nails . Only remove the top layer of shine . Remove the dust from the nails . Soak a cotton ball in acetone place on your nail and place a nail clip on they can be bought on Amazon . Do five nails at a time . Set a timer for 15 minutes and use the orange stick to gently scrape away the gel polish . If it gives you a hard time repeat the process until you can gently get all of the polish off. Repeat with the opposite hand . Wash and dry your hands and nails . Apply cuticle oil to nails and cuticles or can use olive oil . Let your nails rest two to four weeks before doing another manicure so your nails have a chance to have a break .

      @janineweller8371 3 года назад

      @@LP-oj3rp it’s to give your nails a chance to recoup after the process of taking the gel off . Since it can damage your natural nails . The gel I use recommends waiting two to four weeks before your next manicure to let your nails recoup as well.
