Love these. I personally wouldn't trim my edges. I like them a l*type rough and shabby looking, but that's just me and what I like. You do you and I do me. Thats the beauty in scrapbooking/journal making

These are such a great idea! I love the use of the little fabric scraps. I sew/quilt plus do a lot of paper crafting, so have many scraps of both! Love the little snippets of lace too, and using some old vintage buttons.. I would use these mostly for my card fronts and also on little mini books and albums for photos. Also great idea to just staple things on and then cover with a focal piece.

Step #7 in this tutorial is what I apply to you - pure admiration for your ability to make so many unique ideas into reality for all of us to enjoy and use. I am doing a vintage/somewhat steampunk (not my original intent) and a couple of these will add interest for my papes. Many, many thanks for your time and making creativity seem effortless.
