Looks like you are into Designer and Niche - i know it isn't the season but how about something bright and citrusy Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Italian Love or Tom Ford Neroli Portofino. More in the current season Killians Angel's Share or Triumph of Bacchus by Argos are more rich. There is also Dolce and Gabbana the One EDP and Dior Homme intense. Floris 89, Creed Green Irish Tweed are also great classics.

Tried Ombré Leather for the first time yesterday. Absolutely hated it at first, just smelled like a leather handbag, just weird. But a couple of hours later it had totally changed and I loved it.
Fierce was my favorite fragrance for 10 years. My most complimented. I got insane compliments for it. Absolute classic. But nowadays it’s watered down and just depressing to smell it comparing to what it uses to be.

Just got Luna Rosa Black in yesterday, tried it last night. Really nice, perfect amount of sweetness. It’s definitely not a beast so I had to do 12 sprays but totally worth the price. Safe blind buy.
@@halfpine9952 Sometimes you have to overspray. Fragrance like LNDL are so great but they last 1-2 Hours, so you have to overspray if you want that kind of fragrance to project and last🤷🏽♂️
I have 90% of these and I must say that DIOR Homme Intense is waaaaaay up there. I'd also love to try your fragrance line, and hope you'll have it in South Africa soon.

That said, I live in hot and humid S Florida so curious how the thinking would change for date night & formal wear fragrance in that situation? Prada luna rossa black smells great but the projection and silage is abysmal. after an hour it becomes not much more than a skin scent. its a real pity as it does smell fantastic

I keep hearing alot of negative reviews about the longevity for Mont Blanc Explorer - is is that bad? I tend to use moisturiser so fragrances stay longer. What is the longevity like?
I can smell it on me through an entire work day but I typically wear Dylan blue instead. That being said I love explorer I think it smells great and the longevity isn't that bad at least 6-7 hours for me

You have to have Bleu De Chanel edp in your line up. Ive got a modest 83 bottle collection im only into designers but quality over quantity, ive done alot of labour finding hidden gems, discontinued frags etc, so im done for a while, I have got a couple of back ups of my favourites but its my hobby so its now hitting Summer in Australia so its fresh and blue and Aquatics which i love, so my Winter/Autumn ones are resting now, but everytime I say im not going to buy a new one, I end up coming home with a couple more lol, but its the worst feeling when a bottle finishes, so that happened with my BDC EDP last week so as I sprayed the last few in the Bottle i was ordering my new one. I love my Sauvage edp and Elixir, but I couldnt say I have 1 major favourite, but im really enjoying YSL edp, so have about 50ml left in a 100ml bottle but also have a back up bottle ready to go, but on the niche side, its not because of price, I have a shoe box packed with 5ml testers of all different niche, but i buy for me not what i think others will like, but ive been collecting and stopping and starting again since 2013, so my nose has developed alot, but i must say im intrigued with Armani Code Parfum, I havent purchsed it yet, but ive tested it a few times and it is top shelf, but not sure about paying $220 AUD for a bottle just yet, as I own the flankers and Colonia is very underrated as a fresh take on that line, but the Givenchy Gentleman line especially Boisee and Reserve Prive are what got me loving the Iris note, so then I had to get Dior Homme Intense and totally diff Iris take but a great frag, the one that dissapiinted me the most especially paying $230 AUD is Dior Homme Edt, I had half a bottle of the 2011 release, I knew the new one didnt have the Iris note, but the jury is out on that one , obviously im going to wear it but, I wouldnt be in a hurry to buy a back up. Thats just my take. But actually call me boring but Sauvage edp and Elixir are prob my favs but if you are just starting out you need to own as he said a Dior Sauvage in your collection.

I can't hate on you ash. You were the one who got me into this hobby but from my experience in collecting fragrances is that these collection must haves are useless. It's personal collection so it should reflect the owner of that collection. Tips and reviews are useful. But not these must have in your collection. Welp I'm of to buy more light blue sun, forever and Le Beau Le parfum
I'd say 5-10 total just to have varieties. Find out what you like and keep/get a full bottle of those. Less is more. Most of these fragrance are redundant and/or copy cats.

Wow, 12 sprays is a lot for Luna Rossa Black. It's designed to sit a little closer to the skin, not to be noticed in a neighboring city.

what? it's not weak by any means, yeah it's not a loud oud fragrance but it's pretty potent for being sweet and soapy

Thats just my take. But actually call me boring but Sauvage edp and Elixir are prob my favs but if you are just starting out you need to own as he said a Dior Sauvage in your collection.
Respectfully, please try to learn to use periods to start new sentences. It will make your comments much easier for the readers to follow. Using multiple commas just creates a big run on sentence.
I'm not a fan of Coach platinum EDP. I don't think it's similar to Dior sauvage at all, it smells very similar to the AXE deodorant in my opinion.

I can't hate on you ash. You were the one who got me into this hobby but from my experience in collecting fragrances is that these collection must haves are useless. It's personal collection so it should reflect the owner of that collection. Tips and reviews are useful. But not these must have in your collection. Welp I'm of to buy more light blue sun, forever and Le Beau Le parfum

I'd say 5-10 total just to have varieties. Find out what you like and keep/get a full bottle of those. Less is more. Most of these fragrance are redundant and/or copy cats.
