Solid!! 🤙🏼 I use a similar exercise to demo how the actuation of the trigger is generally almost the exact same at either the 3 or the 25 yard lines, to show shooters the need to abandon the idea of a “slow steady press” for precise shots. It’s a very good lesson in what is truly important. 🎯
I consistently use this drill. For what you call Confirmation Level 2 and 3 I push this to 15, 20, 25 yards to make sure my grip is stabilizing my point of aim and also doing proper full speed manipulation of the trigger. Obviously dot wobble is a thing and your group will open a small bit because we are not robots but if you’re paying attention you will know when you are doing it right and wrong. Also focusing on follow through after the round breaks to make sure I’m not wanting to pull the gun off target too soon to rush to the next rep. I have found this helpful for me.
So this is that MFer that beats me in Ace every single time. I'm gonna binge all his videos and learn everything I can just to be able to beat him at his own game.
Tim thank you for this. When using confirmation level 2 for those of us with trigger safeties, should we depress the safety but not move the trigger? Merry Christmas.
Love the solid articulation sir and huge fan of your work, also love the ravenwing boys 🫡, another great point of discussion people seem to not understand is “advanced shooting”, for me as I understand, and as you portrayed, it is just a very high level of the fundamentals executed at a rate that is conceived as advanced level shooting, any input is highly welcomed sir 🫡

Awesome lesson I learned a lot just watching this short video. Thanks this will definitely help me get better starting out with competition
I used a similar drill to this recently to practice confirmation levels, but I was doing doubles on demand. I like it quite a bit!
Terrific video! Thanks.
Thanks Tim!!!

Phenomenal instructor.
I couldn’t agree more.

@@mobikes1547 I’d recommend just touching the trigger/safety and not depressing the safety.
Christmas chile all the way!

So you're saying there's more to it than just get tan between the elbows and let 'er have it?
did you really tell Tessah Booth to do support hand reload
@@GunThinks I did suggest it as a good way for her to reload and not have to manipulate the gun in her hand.
@TimHerronShooting do you think advice like that might stunt her growth as a shooter. I see it as more of an equipment issue.
@ nope. I know of a few high performing M/GM shooters that utilize that specific technique
My new favorite video
Headshots at 25 yards?🤣
@@zen-Tii that’s not out of the ordinary. 🤷🏻♂️
Standard for any advanced unit.
Piece of cake. You need to practice more, obviously
