Nirvana - Where Did You Sleep Last Night (Guitar Cover)

- This is my fav version of Where Did You Sleep Last Night from With The Lights Out. "Where Did You Sleep Last Night" or "In The Pines" is a century-old tune known by many names and played in what seems like endless variations. The song is loosely concerning a mix of murder, trains, runaways, adultery and depression. The song had successfully passed in the oral tradition, becoming a well-known tune for both bluegrass hero Bill Monroe and blues legend Lead Belly. Kurt and Krist first played it on Mark Lanegan’s 1990 solo album The Winding Sheet, and later they would do their own version. And what a version it was to become! Nirvana's version from MTV Unplugged builds from a sentimental brood to implacable frenzy. A perfect and tragic endpoint.

Equipment used: 1967 Stella Harmony 12 string(with 5 nylon strings, same set-up as Kurt had)

@@Tomnedreb I'm addicted too, I prolly haven't been playing as long as you, I didn't discover Nirvana till 2014 n I was instantly hooked, got my first guitar in 2015 all cuz I was inspired by Kurt and I been playing there songs ever since and I'm glad when after all these years and times spend playing I'm so glad I still have the same passion to play, I never get tired of it, this Monday on the anniversary date, I'm gonna listen to and cover the off ramp concert for the very first time, I heard it's one of their longest and best concerts
Yeah, the off ramp is surely one of my fav shows. Such a great set also..

I feel like your just like me, alot of people say i play too much nirvana and it is the only band i listen to. Its great knowing im not legitimately only ONLY nirvana listener, I play guitar and i play pretty well.
