September 17th, 2022 was the 2022 New Jersey Historic Bus Festival, hosted by Friends of New Jersey Transportation Heritage Center (NJTHC). At the end of the event, we see a plethora of vintage buses roaring down East State Street, powered anywhere from Cummins C8.3 to Detroit Diesel 6v71s to even Detroit Diesel Series 50! Enjoy all of this non-stop bus action!

TMC was going to close up shop on the RTS after the Fairfax Connector buses, MBTA and NYCT saved the day.

Why is it the newer busses have diesel motors, but they dont sound like regular clackity clack semis? They have a whine to them that I grew up with riding the busses.

Great buses wish I was there I couldn't make it, did they not have any flxible new looks there,and surprise SEPTA didn't bring out their two vintage ones left,Goldie Fish and Flx.
SEPTA has literally never brought their historic buses to a bus show. They only bring them out for the Roadeos.
