Mr. Wonderful. I appreciate the fact that you were primarily interested in the look of the dials. You did mention that the A.Lange & Sohne had a digital dial. It would have been great and instructive to non watch geeks to say how the J.P. Journe Resonance has two movements that synchronize over time. Great collection
Hey, Kevin! Glad that you appear very well during this time. I’d just like to say thank you for your optimistic and encouraging response to the first question at the beginning of this video. May this kind of edification become more contagious than any virus!
All ways love the watch collection. Vacheron Constantin is all ways been in my top 3 still to this day don't understand why in USA Vacheron is so underrated? Was really happy to see some long watch content with Producer Michael.
I don’t understand anything about watches however I love watching your passion for them. I enjoyed watching you choose. Hope you have a WONDERFUL season 12.
The question "How can you buy a watch as an investment it you never sell any?" My wife has asked me that question more than once as I have purchased both watches and watch making tools. In fact, I have 13 vintage ww watchmakers lathes. She has also asked why do I need so many guitars when you can only play one at a time. These items may never be sold but they will retain their value, so, if i somehow got to my last dime, I could still eat. Thanks for the video and would love to chat with you some day. I did go to high school in Montreal and my mother was swiss...therefore I would either be in the cheese or watch business.
Love the watches, I definitely want to see more watch content on your channel. I don’t own any watches but I would say my favorite in your collection is what I believe to be the Audemars Piguet Code 11.59. The dial is incredible especially with the red band... love it.
my first choice would have been that blue dial Overseas... the rest don't even compare in "Blue" dial speak... never mind that amazing in-house 5100 movement with the Geneva Seal!
Love the fact how passionate Mr. Wonderful is about these watches. With his fortune, he could go out and buy anything but he really cares about the individuality of the pieces. As always, thanks for taking us along the ride with you!
Gorgeous watches, however I think a tank or squared watch would have been a stunner and surprising piece. That Reverso would have brought great interest to the wrist
Can you discuss the emotional impact of having your watches stolen and did you try to recover them? My grandfather’s gold watch, which was promised to me as a little boy as something I would get after I finished college, was stolen when my apartment was ransacked 10 years ago and I still agonize over it sometimes - usually after watching your watch videos. My grandfather died before I was born so it was my only real physical connection to him. How did you get over it when you were robbed?
Case shape, size and finishing contribute to the art of the watch as well. But for me, it's the movement. Bums me out when there's no open caseback to see the beautiful movement, ornate or industrial looking it may be. 🥰
Thanks for taking us on a tour of your collection. Impressive indeed! Great choices. Enjoy your Summer. Thanks for another entertaining (and educational) video.
25:24 Mr Wonderful is that a Rolex or is that a Tudor Black Bay. Maybe my eyes tricked me but I swear I saw a snowflake hand. Excellent watch pen and cuff link collection. Your advice is amazing and I consider u a role model. Have an amazing rest of your week
Excellent advice about not telling co-workers or manager you are planning to leave until it's time to let people know you're saying goodbye. I've also seen people say "well you're going to leave anyways, so just leave now" and then you go without pay until you start at the new job and work a full pay period. So definitely STFU until the 2 week prior date comes when you drop your 2 week notice. If it's not a good job, give them a today notice: "I quit today." It's customary to give 2 weeks to allow them to place an ad, interview, and hire a replacement or appoint someone to your position for you to show them the ropes before you leave but sometimes you will be treated worse once they know you are leaving. If it's a toxic workplace I would give a today notice.
Tough decisions never looked so good Kevin. If you don't mind my asking, what brand of pens are those? I'm interested in the fourth pen from the left. Love the blue speckle.
Didn't even pick up the Gold one... I thought you were saving it for last... I really like that one and it was the first to catch my eye!... Nice collection!...
Kevin, think about this, for one of your new series watches should be black suit, black tie, your skull cuffs, black pen, and a GREEN HULK with a red band! After all, the color of money is green last time I checked. I think that would stick out immensely!!! Just a thought!
Man, did I hate the whole red band thing you have going on with all your watches. Now that I see all of them together like this..I get it, and actually really like the idea now. I know you’ll never see this comment but the red theme is a very unique idea that made me do something similar with my whopping 6 watch collection lol.
