- Today we are in Mazatlan Sinaloa Mexico to try the famous ice cream behind the cathedral from Don Hilario. They call these nieves de garrafa because of the style they use to make the Mexican ice cream. It gets hot in Mazatlan so these Mexican ice creams will keep you refreshed. This is he most famous spot in town known by every one. I went in with Sophie to give the nieves de garrafa "Mexican ice cream" a try. They have many different ice cream flavors and they are made with real natural ingredients which you can immediately taste. I hope you guys enjoy this Mexican food vlog.

they dont put ice and salt in the ice cream, they use salt to prevent the ice from melting on the exterior of the container the mixes the ice cream. doesnt sound unique, thats what most vendors do.

love the video but it's not a unique technique. You can literally buy those machines and make ice cream at your house the same way. With salt and ice the machine swirls the liquid until you get ice cream.
