This whole video has been so much fun to watch. I used to live in Lansing and now I'm up in Northern MI. I'm planning a short trip to Lansing this spring to visit a friend and I'm definitely going to hit that SVDP store and the Maple St Mall. Also I love Carol Duvall and she is... or was... a local up here.. ran into her all the time at the gas station and shes just as sweet and lovely in person. The pink unfinished quilt looks like it was done in the liquid embroidery craze of the mid 70's. My grandma Mabel introduced us to it. She left me her unfinished quilt when she passed. She used a pink flat sheet as the base of the quilt.

I think she would sell way more of her beautiful stuff if she worked on using the walls of booth. (she pays for it, so utilize all of it) How you display is so important for the best sales! What a fun day! I decant paint or any other medium I use so that the entire jar isn't open to the air while I'm working on my project. Over time your paint will dry up and become gunky more quickly from leaving it open for longer periods of time. But the bottom line is we each should do what works best for us.

The mold with the “thing on the inside” is to use in a pan to make shaped eggs, pancakes, fried breads, grilled cheese, etc.. the hand folds up so that you can remove it to turn your food item over in the pan. It works great!!!!!! Try it!

My sister moved from Iowa to Missouri and I haven't seen her since 2019 because of covid n her husband(my only brother)has had some health problems, and my bestest friend passed away this summer after surgery. Was great watching you 2! Now I want a picnic 🧺 2.

Love this video. Reminded me of my dear sister who just died. She also had a purple streak in her at all times and listed to rap music (loudly)in her truck. She was 78 when she died. I want to go to Lansing and thrift, but I live in California. I was born however in Bad Axe Michigan. I really want that wood to make a live edge table. Stay thrifting.

What a fun/great road trip, looks like you ladies had a great time. As well as taking out what you need so that you don't contaminate the paint, leaving the lid off for long periods of time makes your paint dry out.

Love this video. Reminded me of my dear sister who just died. She also had a purple streak in her at all times and listed to rap music (loudly)in her truck. She was 78 when she died. I want to go to Lansing and thrift, but I live in California. I was born however in Bad Axe Michigan. I really want that wood to make a live edge table. Stay thrifting.

As well as taking out what you need so that you don't contaminate the paint, leaving the lid off for long periods of time makes your paint dry out.

FYI...Dixie Belle paints are thick and known for one coat use...no watering it down...they also level or even out as it dries...I love you girls together...Funny as can be!!!😍
