- A full tour of this unique, nocturnal zoo - The Moonlight World! A small, but perfectly formed zoo for nocturnal animals and more! You can tour the zoo yourself by downloading it from the workshop here: steamcommunity...
Check out all my zoo tours here: • Best Planet Zoo Tours ...
If you want me to tour your zoo on the channel then send a steam workshop link to the email address on my About page and I will take a look! Just be aware that San Bernardino Zoo is my priority so, unfortunately, I don't have time to tour every zoo I get sent. Please don't be offended if your zoo doesn't get featured, it doesn't mean I didn't like it!

I find small highly-themed / concept zoos really satisfying to explore. Beautiful!
Thanks!
I totally agree. They have that extra air of realism to me. This is a zoo I would totally want to visit.
I’ve had an up close experience with a wild skunk. It was probably the most breathtakingly amazing experiences in my life. I’m not sure about other Americans but I find skunks quite cute so I was really happy they were added in Planet Zoo!
Sounds amazing!
The beavers are still in Wildlands, but the zoo is working on a 10 year plan which might see the beavers moved to allow for more polar bear space.
The bats keep reminding me that Frontier could really do something similar for small birds. Your batviary shows there is a place for it in aviary form.
Aha, thanks for the info! Yep small birds wold be perfect in the bat exhibits and large birds would be fine in a massive version of the normal exhibit seeing as you hardly ever see them moving in real zoos anyway
From Singapore myself, have to say glad that our zoo has provided you with so much inspiration. Looking forward to the completion of that Mandai master plan too
Me to, I'll have to come back when it's all done!
@@ZSHplays for sure.
If you're interested, I have a very old save file of a half-finished franchise zoo which I set in Singapore/Southeast Asia. The exhibits are shite but I did make two buildings that are typical of colonial architecture in Singapore. The whole idea behind the zoo was to try having something that was built into repurposed buildings with a sense of history and place.
Can send it to you if you'd like a bit of inspiration. It's not really applicable to St. Bernadino but if you ever set something in Malaysia/Singapore it might come in handy. Or I can pop into the discord too
@@Hsusiesure stick it in the discord, thanks
Imagine if you could make this a vr walkthrough
That would be very cool!
Is it possible
@@reddragon7684 I know one of the modders (I think it was Leaf) sort of got VR working once, it's not practical as far as I'm aware though
Atleast it’s a possibility for the future
@@ZSHplays I know there’s a way to make a 3-D RUclips video, would that work for planet zoo?
Wildlands is still here in the Netherlands. One of our biggest zoos. Cool to see a reference.
Yeh they have some great theming there
1:10 for what it's worth, I live in NA and I loved the pack *because* they're backyard animals for us! Sometimes I think NA folks can lose sight of how special our own local animals can be until you see them from the eyes of people from other places and reflect that they're also interesting unique critters
They are really cool!
Amazing zoo! The only thing I can think of is adding white flowers everywhere, or just along the paths. I've recently learned of moon gardens. Thought it would be cool for this zoo to have 'flower lights' bc white flowers tend to show up in the dark. Thanks sharing this zoo with us!
That's a great idea! Thanks!
I just really love you saying hey back to the staff member as they greeted you!
Haha it amused me!
Even though I live the woods of the eastern US I’ve still never seen a live skunk in the wild. The twilight pack really is super underrated. I love building for small animals.
Yeh it’s a lot of fun!
Hi i love your builds! They got me to play planet zoo again.
Awesome! Thanks!
A gorgeous zoo with so many great ideas packed into it. Love the beaver, red panda, armadillo and bat exhibits.
Thanks Mr Weasel!
Beautiful! Most of the raccoons I have seen in the wild are hiding or jumping out of trashcans. You are not missing much!
Haha!
I once saw one digging through a trash can and one was on my fence once
@@capybara455 Lucky you!
Woo! Extra videos!!!
Indeed!
Another mini zoo that you can build is an African zoo. That whould be so cool! Love the moonlight world and this video btw🤩
Thanks! The Africa section in San Bernardino is going to be as big as a mini zoo 😆
The best tiger build ever!
Thanks!
Started typing this comment during the video to say my favourite enclosure is probably the Armadillo Adventure... But then you got to the Flying Forest and, I've got to say, that dome is a masterpiece. Was very happy to see a bonus video from you this week!!
Awesome thanks!
This is absolutely amazing!
Thank you!
@@ZSHplays No worries!! Looking forward to the next San Bernardino episode! 😁
Now I need to binge watch the entire build 😅😅
DO IT! 😆
@@ZSHplays Sure ❤️❤️
♥
Looks awesome! ❤
Thanks!
@@ZSHplays no problem! I loved tekton zoo and I saint Bernardino so far! Keep up the great work!!!
Will do!
Love it! Really like the concept of a nocturnal zoo/night safari.
Just a little note: Wildlands Adventure Park Emmen isn't located in Holland but the Netherlands :P Holland is just the western 2 provinces of the Netherlands and Wildlands is in the North-Eastern provice called Drenthe :P
Thanks! And yeh I know the English practice of calling the Netherlands 'Holland' is incorrect, I'm ashamed 😆
@@ZSHplays shame shame shame on you :P
Also, fun fact: the habitat of the beaver itself isn't shared, but the illusion is made that their neighbours the raccoons and the skunks share the habitat :D Raccoon Creek is really awesome. I'm not that big fan of Wildlands, it lacks something in the whole, but it's great inspiration for a nice themed zoo :D
It's a bit over-themed for my taste with some too small habitats but I think they're going in the right direction. Never actually been though so what do I know!
I actually love Wildlands. Funny that you think some habitats are too small. Because of all the zoos in The Netherlands I feel that the habitats in Wildlands are by far the most spacious for the animals. Although you already say you haven’t been haha. Great videos btw!!
@@jessetrip9189 That was my impression from a few photos but they could be years old! Glad to hear the animals have lots of space!
So cool amazing
Thanks!
Do night zoos actually exist? It sounds like such a cool concept I’d love to go to one!
Not entirely sure if entire night zoos exist, but it's very common for zoos to host events where they are open at night for a few days.
@@Langharig_Tuig oh nice!
Yes! This is based on the Singapore Night Safari which is only open in the evening/night and is very much a real zoo!
I would love if you could make a video on how to hide keeper huts and other worker buildings. That is the hardest part for me! When you go to a zoo you don’t really notice them and I want to achieve that in my builds but I never know where to put them.
I normally put them in fairly generic looking buildings, there’s a bit on that in my top 10 franchise tips video
Amazing 👏🏻
Thanks!
@ZSHplays Your most welcome, Keep up the amazing work you do. Always looking forward to your next videos. Would you ever consider doing longer videos in the future?
I would love to do longer videos but I feel it's difficult to hold people's interest for longer than 20 mins tops on a single build.
If this existed I would go rushing to see this place
Awesome!
Nice been a while
Haha it has indeed!
Hey man just wanna say I absolutely love your content your attention to detail and sheer knowledge of this game and just zoo information is truly incredible. I'm actually planning on building a zoo in Minecraft in inspiration of your vids and was wondering if you'd like to give it a name?
Thanks! Well it took me about a month to come up with the name San Bernardino so this will take some thought 😆 What biome are you building it in?
@@ZSHplays The plains biome i know very basic 😂
It's amazing and rlly love this night safari build idea. But I feel that it would be awesome if there were more species like mabye Asian elephants, lions and gharials. But after all excellent job
Thanks! None of those animals are nocturnal but they will be in my San Bernardino Zoo series
What! U told me the AFRICAN AND ASIAN AREA TOP SECRET FOR SAN BERNARDINO ZOO I LOVE ELEPHANTS! And gharials Asian area BENGAL TIGERS IN ASIA! @@ZSHplays
Lions are nocturnal animals I saw that in bbc@@ZSHplays
But lions don’t really match with moonlight world they like look better with the sun @@ZSHplays
I haven’t seen raccoon in the wild I sawed them once at Toronto zoo in Canadian domain
Awsome!
Thanks!
good video
Thanks!
Is there any discount in Moonlight World for those of us who have the annual pass for San Bernardino Zoo? I want to visit this one too! 😊
If you promise not to jump up and down screaming when you're in the Tiger cage you can come for free Aramar! 😆
I think that planet zoo needs to fix the tiger white eyes for night thing because it will look so realistic. white eyes in night will be a really cool thing to see in moonlight world. But I absolutely love this zoo and I wanna be one of the guests in the truck because I wanna see tigers every Moment! the guests in there are not greatfull for seeing tigers everyday. Think of tiger roaring everyday so much fun u can see them eating and see it everyday.
Would we be seeing kangaroos, koalas, emus and crocodiles in the Australia area at San Bernardino Zoo at some point?
Yes to all of the above 😁
Lost my shit at the park goers trapped in the tiger area screaming for help. Should be a park event, each night one is let out and guests get to see how far they can make it, and the tigers get a meal.
😆
I've been trying for the life of me to get the circle guest facility to work with food counters ( like your ticket counters) and i cant get it to work. Do you have a video of showing that build?
Sadly not, I built the entrance of camera as I knew ep 1 would be the bat aviary to tie in with the Twilight pack. What is the issue you're having?
Hii
