  • For a backpacking trip we decided to spend one night at little known Jacques Lake in Jasper National Park in Canada. It wasn't that busy so there was an opening and it supposedly had beautiful views from the lake. It's an easy 7.39 miles and only 736 feet of elevation gain so it should be easy.

Nice to see that moose! I still can't believe the stunning landscape, at times it looks like a green screen behind you.

That was a grain scoop shovel. They make excellent snow shovels.

Good video with lots of good beautiful views, with a moose 😅, so let's keep on hiking 😊

Thanks for the video! I'm going there this upcoming summer. Btw, the cabin was a former park warden cabin, the Alpine Club of Canada (you'll see the logo on the door) has permission to rent it out in winter.

Hi Jay. Love your videos. We also have a 4 Runner. What attic is that we see inside of your 4Runner? Thx Mike

Attic or drawers? I made the bed platform myself but use a Thule Sport on the top of the car with the Thule Aerobars.

Did you filter the water or drink it as is?
That toilet isn't private enough for me...

Always filter. Many of these toilets are wide open like that. Just be glad it's not raining when you have to go.
