DJ is flawless. Never seen a performance of theirs where he was anything other than 10/10. It is INCREDIBLY difficult to drum that perfectly.

Yes! At at those tempos, to be rock steady without fail. Much, much harder than it looks. Many drummers attempting to do this, the vibe would completely fall apart.

These tempo and timing transitions are not only technically tight but they are incredibly tasteful to the quality of the song.

@@waltbcouncil4786 yeah they are! My father said he loves this song just for the fact that it's beautiful and melodic. He also said it reminds him of when he was playing guitar in the 70's. The chordal structures and effects pedal takes him back to his youth. He smiles everything he plays it!!
You know a band is good when they can do a live performance and have it sound exactly like the final version of their song, it shows that they don't use much auto tune.

Yes the tempo changes I love them and how each chord is like a slice of an amazing desert!! And that raindrops solo guitar!! Like I was scuba diving in the Mauritius Island.
The amazing fourth component of this music in this video is the excellent filming. Many videos concentrate on just the singer, or the main guitar lead, often the drummer is less heralded. In this video, all the amazing musicians seemed to be equally featured; their talents so sublime! This band is different, unique, and very excellent, a really tight sound. The camera people get 5 stars from me - and many more in the industry I'm sure, it's VERY noticeable how good the production is, makes the music and musicians shine!!

That's the best song I've heard in maybe twenty years....
Just read about these folks after they played the Forecastle Festival in Louisville, KY. For whatever reason or another, I decided to look them up and check out their music. Good gracious what a sound. They blend together nicely. Drummer creates a pocket and doesn't overplay. Love the bass player and how she and the drummer compliment each other. The guitar player seems like he is really good. I'm not a guitar player so I don't know but I love how he plays. Nice band indeed. From about the 4 minute mark to the end of the song is just absolutely perfect. The tempo changes are somehow smooth as silk and do not seem forced at all. Superb

Laura Lee.....ahhhh, where to begin. She, with her perfect lipstick, her colorful clothing, and her hips swaying to the rhythm, adds a perfect blend of funk and feminine complimenting the clean, simple notes of her steady bass. She seems to be in perfect sync with the other two, completing the trio with her mystical vocals and crisp air exhalations.
I saw them in concert in Milan, just a week ago....fantastic group, fantastic and very smooth sound. They deserve more attention from Italian audience because they are great. Best think i ever discovered on RUclips after impressive prog rock group named "Camel".
Khraungbin is the band that will bring this country and the world together as one ❤

Rocky Walkie. Just saw them Saturday night in Philly. They did a medley of 70s grooves used in west coast hip hop that included Isley Brothers music. They played the grooves from Regulators and Aint Nothin But a G Thang. That got the crowd hyped.

have to chime in, drummer here. Yes DJ's timing is perfect, it is not easy to play slow tempos, harder to change tempos so perfectly and not be a bit too slow or too fast. He locks right in and its the bass also w/ him. Most bands would have to have some eye contact etc at those time changes and even then they may not be so smooth...would love to play in a band like this...its not always about blazing chops and fills...did I mention her vocals...so ethereal...

I came across this band completley by accident, and am SO glad that I did. Thank you for the upload. The fact that kruangbin caught my attention is a breath of fresh air to a (musically ) thus synical and jaded 40 something whom was convinced that the best music lay in the 80's and early 90's. I hope they go on to great things, so talented

This band arrived into my life and made me enjoy music again. Of course, it started with a cheeky thumbnail of Laura but since that day I never looked back. This is my favorite band at the moment. Just saw them live for the first time last week and it was a religious experience to say the least.
