All 3 musicians are excellent at their instruments. This is who I want to see play at the Super Bowl!!! This is real musical talent that we are robbed from in the media world. Thank You for posting.

Hmmm…let’s see here; a drummer who outplays a metronome, a clever guitarist who’s mastered “the drip” sound and a spot-on GORGEOUS bassist gluing it all up - who’ve come together to create one beautiful thing. It just doesn’t get any better IMO. I loved the classic rock review at the end too. A nod to the great Hank Marvin.
How this band got together, and how they met, and knew each other is part of the mystique it gives them, to me at least, and their barnyard studio in Texas; not to mention that a farmer named a cow after the bass player [Laura Lee], and the cows come to listen to their music some times while they rehearse. Love their sound! They really do seem to come from another planet.
I'm seeing them live for the first time this August at the Berkeley Theater and man has it been been awesome listening to them and seeing them funk out, I've got now my 2nd guitar and I've I've always had a wide range of music but hearing them talk in the interviews about certain influence such as Thai and Eastern music has made me want to go to my local music shop " Rasputin " and pick out some different stuff.
@@kind2311 Ha yeah Goose is great! I love Khruangbin too, they're a great live act. My only complaint when I've seen them is their shows are SO SHORT!
Objectively, she is a quite average bass player. Nothing special at all. But she is a good musician and the three of them together have developed a unique low-style of music you could call ambient dance-pop, with a dash of surf guitar.
I would call her a "solid" bass player. My music teacher used to say the bass was the bridge between the melody and the rhythm. Happy to see a player content to stay in the pocket and groove and not try to be another guitarist. There's joy in economy.
Plainly said, Laura owns her act and gets the job done! Luckily for her, she’s got a consistent and no “diddly-bop bullsht fill every fourth measure” drummer back there to play with. No member here is as strong as the three of em are together.
this a true delight. i here song in this set. that i have heard for years on the internet. song that got me though the daily dred. lightended my heart. and somehow there all in here. mixed in. it ARt!!! im crying!!
Yep! Great stuff!! Folks, this is a REAL jam band. I played in bands for years and all anybody wanted to do was cover songs. (Journey, Fleetwood Mac, etc.). When we were kids, we did this stuff. We turned on all our effects (chorus, reverb, distortion, tremelo) Smoke a bit of something and just went for it. Best time of my life as a musician...
Groove deficiency? Stiffness in your hips and neck? Take a dose of Khruangbin twice daily. Don't talk to you doctor, she won't get it. Side effects may include smiling and better mental health.
The last time I checked on tickets for their show in Mexico City, it was outrageously so expensive that I thought I lived in the Twilight Zone. I wonder what they'd charge to sit in on one of their practices?
Bap bap bap.....lol, when I heard that switch out to Wat A Bam Bam .....pulllll upppp. Ay unno Sell Off maaaaddd. As a Jamaican , I say unno wicked pon di sounds
I understand because I love their music and hope they do get to play at a SB, need something different and good and they Are That! I woul really like to hear them do the music in the video of Maria Tambien and Firefly they are doing in this video. 😊❤ 🎶🎵❤ 🎸 🥁

It's a pretty solid mix from all 3 of their albums. www.setlist.fm/setlist/khruangbin/2021/the-woodlands-of-dover-international-speedway-dover-de-3b8dac78.html
I admit it. I have a Khruangbin problem. Totally addicted to this band.
Welcome to the 12 step program. Keep coming back. It works.
yes ! .... it is a contagious disease 🤩

Far too hip for that nonsense.
Is Super Bowl something important?
They would rather have someone lame like Nicky Minaj or Dua Lipa

Damn.. My intuition never fails me.. I saw the thumbnail and KNEW I needed to check it out. How TF have I never heard of them??
When something is simple and complex at the same time, and performed to perfection.

Yeah!! They are great. They took a true Psychadelic Garage band style and classically brought it to the masses. Love em.
Laura Lee Ochoa is so pretty
I lived through the funk era and yes they sound funky
Cleanest guitarist ever!

I know. There style and sound is unique, that's why I love the music.
Thank you tube recommendations.
Apparently they met for breakfast for four years before playing a single note... they blow my mind!
Where did you read that bit about the cow? Would like to read that :)
This will trigger any addiction- it’s so goooooooood
I love their style so much. They are so cool
seeing them live really changes your life!!!
Laura Lee is the most sensual and incredible female bassist, these guys are on a whole another level
Its okay to just say you find her attractive 😂you're not alone friend

This band caught my attention 2 weeks ago. They're awesome. 👌🏾
How could you possibly get any better. They did it
The best "live" group on RUclips.
Even better in person than on RUclips too.
"is Goose"
... is the end of that sentence
@@kind2311 Ha yeah Goose is great! I love Khruangbin too, they're a great live act. My only complaint when I've seen them is their shows are SO SHORT!
Yeah, alive for sure. Too much machined, these daze.
Along with Phish. 😁
“So we won’t forget” gets me every time. ❤ KHRUANGBIN!
Simply addictive.......
One of their best live performances. This sounds so damn good
Love the little "Bennie And The Jets" intermezzo just before "Maria También" - this band is mindblowing
Laura is such a legit bassist. Her feel is at the root of this band’s sound.
She's got great legs as a bass player.
@@Pimp-Master - All her lady bits are nice :)

The bassist is incredible...
Wow! That jam around 23:00 -24:00 is just sick. Jimmy Page would be digging that middle eastern guitar sound!
Magical, so very magical

Their cover from Sister Nancy's Bam Bam just gave me the chills. ¡Unexpected! Loved it
Thai funk to Dancehall. So awesome.
I literally read this at the exact moment they transitioned to that... chills
@@jacuzzoda1346 Pure magic is on the air with this band!! Thanks for sharing🌟
I haven't played bass in about 8 years. Since discovering this band, I'm shopping for a new jazz bass.
Saw them live twice recently. Have to say Laura has improved a lot!
Laura lee seriously has my whole heart. She is an absolute Goddess on the Bass

Always epic. Gotta see them live.
So creative...I love them
The hesitance when they walk out and start the first song giving way to euphoria... 😍
The guitarist is an "Alien"! Too good!
Such a fun set, highlight of that Firefly day

Time (You & I) is probably Laura's best Khruangbin song ever. Her bass takes the lead and Mark/DJ set the foundation.
Even better live than their recordings.
Best live band on the planet.
Definitely appreciate them more live. Soooo good
Please announce a 2024 massive world tour, please please please!
best legs in the business now that Tina Turner is gone. RIP Tina
I directed that show :)
Such an amazing gig!!
Well done
They are awesome.
Laura Lee is super sensational hot with the bass guitar.
Fantastici!
What a clear and beautiful tone!
Sister Nancy❤
They played a couple DOOM tracks in the medley towards the end, mind blowing

Blatant refusal by the drummer to leave the pocket.
The Jacob Desvarieux - Sweet Florence at @31:26 tribute got me unguard
Laura uggh I love her so damn much
where is the cannons + khruangbin tour we all want and deeply need
Because 90% of their fans want to see them and not cannons. Would make no sense.
Amazing as usual.
People talk about drummers being "in the pocket", but DJ IS the pocket.
los amo!
The last time I checked on tickets for their show in Mexico City, it was outrageously so expensive that I thought I lived in the Twilight Zone. I wonder what they'd charge to sit in on one of their practices?
Avg cost of tickets to their shows according to stub hub is $62.
How much was Mexico city?
$62 isn't an unfair price
the best band
Thanks alot!
Been listening to them on the SXM jam on channel. Really interesting take on the jam sound.
Bap bap bap.....lol, when I heard that switch out to Wat A Bam Bam .....pulllll upppp. Ay unno Sell Off maaaaddd. As a Jamaican , I say unno wicked pon di sounds

@@stefangonzo Yes! Another great song
Bam Bam - Sister Nancy.
Laura plays the bassline of 311's Prisoner starting at 10:10.
what song is at 44:35? he jams out!! so good🤘

Love your stuff!!!!
Cuts into Back in Black,......nasty!!!

The Infamous Bill 🥰🥰🥰 it's one of my absolute favorites and RIDICULOUSLY fun to play

The bass itself or the person playing it?
