This is the first clip I've seen of Laura playing her new bass, and I honestly don't think I've ever heard her sounding better. I realise it might just be how the broadcast engineer mixed the sound for this video, but there's a bite to her tone here that I can't recall ever hearing before. Absolutely love it, honestly feels like a levelling up of their entire sound
@@sinnertrain7405 the bass is custom made for her, she told the story on a podcast. She is sponsored already, well deserved, what a partner for Fender to work with.

wigs, ass, drum machine beat and tinny guitar. great gimmic..thats supposedly 'still developing'... no doubt..if thats your bag. but beyond the hype.. where's the real hard jamming over the melody that truly great musicians do? posers are everywhere in the real music world. skip the justification bs,lol. where is the substance?
@@imthewungfu703 yes.. because that's exactly what it is.. an act. but it's ok to have different tastes in music. yours is just as good as mine or anybody's. the 'chill' crowd likes them. I know many musicians that don't because of their gimmic. it's kind of canned entertainment.
@@Rikkcasi don’t know man, I guess we are all entitled to an opinion. You also said “ass” like it was on the screen everywhere, didn’t see a single ass shot. Good skillful jamming as well as good lyrical content still is, and always has been, a staple of what is considered timeless music. this act, although polished, is not timeless music. @@Rikkcas too much criticism in the world of music, it’s just not the right place. Im 23, I appreciate anything from CCR to Lauryn Hill and Tom Petty to MC Hammer. Glad Romanians get to discover this amazing group and their marvellous music! Should have been main event… maybe next time…
Crying with happiness for these three beautiful people. They have ARRIVED!!!
were they lost?
Everybody's a smart ass these days. Thanks for that hilarious comment.
They're getting better and better. I think the biggest hype is yet to come.
@@wettspezialist getting better? Sounds like the same childish, meandering crap they’ve been playing for years
@@salactro Are you really that insufferable? There is so much bad music in the world and you think Khruangbin is one them? That is just insane! haha

She's playing an actual Fender Jazz bass now. Sorry for the gear train spotting.
The question is, if she took the strings from the old one...
I’m devastated. She was the only person giving my SX jazz some credibility 😂
@@JohnVisca - She doesn't sound any different. But hopefully Fender will sponsor her.

LOL. Cretinous ape.
The best concert from EC 2024. Irina Rimes and E-na were also gold.
But the sound from this clip is really garbage.

They had already published a new album called "A LA SALA"
