So awesome to see you got it back on the road! How do you not have any snow up there? We got a nice little storm here in VT the other day. Off topic: How many trans drain and fills have you done since the first video you showed doing that? Still using the valvoline?
@BurninGas8.1 nice, I'm running the valvoline cvt now too finally. Had been using castrol the past 3 years, but now it's valvoline for everything. Been using their restore and protect motor oil too. That stuff is amazing. I'm sure one day I'll have to do my head gasket, so I'm glad you were able to JB weld those slits. Curious to see updates in the future on how it's holding up. When I do mine I'm going to use the ARP head bolts. Especially since I plan on running ktuner soon. Gotta love the 10th gen civic coupes though. Best looking of that generation in my opinion. Plus honda nolonger makes a coupe for the civics. I'd totally buy the new prelude that's coming out if it wasnt a friggin hybrid.
There is. Right under the Intake filter assembly box is a trans oil cooler in and out hose with a filter as well on the inside. Actually pretty easy to access.
Didnt Honda recall these engines? Thanks for the updates man btw
great to see the civic back in action! hopefully no problems for many more kms!
With what I did to the block it should never leak again

Little bit of snow yes and it’s had 4 changes every 100000 I do it
And yes valvoline

How many of those coolant lines went to the transmission? Does it have a cooler?
