From one pipe smoking introvert to another pipe smoking introvert I enjoyed the video. I smoke because I love the taste of tobacco and it gives me some company in my introvertness 🙂
It puts me in a zen like state. Smoking a nice pipe tobacco, I can sit outside, watch the birds n squirrels and just relax. 45-50 minutes where I do t think about anything. Just enjoying the moment, the feel, the smells, the taste, the sensations of being alive.
I was a 30 year long cig smoker, I’d occasionally smoke pipes or cigars too. I switched to smoking a pipe only. Now, I smoke 3-4 pipes a day and I don’t have that craving for them like I did for cigs. Man days I’ll only have 1-2 pipes. It’s very relaxing

My Grandpa used to smoke a pipe. I love tobacco. it was only a matter of time. Its the most efficient and enjoyable form of tobacco useage in my opinion.
That’s a beautiful pipe. I think I started smoking a pipe for the relaxation and I use it to reflect and sort my thoughts and put down my phone for a while. I got off cigarettes years ago and never really took to cigars but I like a nice quality pipe, a nice quality tobacco that smells good and a good lighter or matches. It’s a relaxing process for me. It helps my mental health
I guess I started smoking a pipe for a sense of calm. My grandfather smoked and when he passed, I was left his old Peterson. So that's why I started... now why am I still smoking after 30 years? I enjoy the slow down that comes with it. It promotes thoughtfulness and reasonable demeanor. And overall, I like who I am with those things in my life.
I smoke a pipe because my grandpa (who I never met) used to smoke a pipe and I used to get in the drawer and get his pipe out and play with it. I used to like the old smell of it and when I got to the age I am now, I decided that I should give it a try. I really like the smell of tobacco. I don't have much of a taster for it either, but, I'll continue to give it a go and think of my grandpa all the while. Best to you!

Absolutely love the scenery! Very peaceful! I started smoking a pipe about 8 months ago, to my wife's dismay. For me, it was a sort of nostalgic thing. I went to a lot of trapping conventions and did some bird hunting with my dad as a kid. There were a lot of men involved in those activities that smoked a pipe, and I always enjoyed the smell. Now that I smoke a pipe, I really enjoy the taste of tobacco too. It is a pleasant and relaxing experience!

I always smoke Peter Stokkebye Proper English every morning with my coffee. Like you said you want to taste the blend and enjoy your coffee. It's the only time I'll usually smoke an English Latakia blend.

Reminds me a of a more simple time when the world wasn’t all about a list of laws that one has to stick to to be righteous. Just doing what God put in your heart to do. With more slow moments and more meaningful conversation those moments, not so long ago, allowed for growth on a spiritual level.
“Why not” was my first response. On weekdays I have a bowl after work to relax and watch YTPC videos. On weekends I have a bowl or two in the morning with black coffee. This is usually the time I make videos. Plandemic. I love this. May I use this?

Been smoking a pipe a little over 30 years. My late wife purchased my first pipe for me, at the time I was smoking cigars. Next pipe was a meershaum. Until then I'd only smoked Captain Black original cause that's all I'd ever seen my grandfather smoke. After that meershaum...all other pipes I purchased were meershaum pipes.

Mainly Peterson and Savinelli...just tried one Bones? Am enjoying all of them. While cleaning the briar pipes and on different days I will pick out a meershaum. They are great pipes but a good briar does produce a great smoke too.

For now I like being a “non-presenter”. Watching a lot of folks, learning a lot. Why I smoke a pipe? Since I retired it gives me something to do, keeps me out of the kitchen(when it’s not so dang hot here). I don’t do it to relax. If I was anymore relaxed I’d be dead. I like to smoke a pipe to take a bit of time to pause a turn off the modern world and enjoy the taste of a fine tobacco but I have to laugh when I read reviews and they say they get raisin and blood orange and rum! I just taste tobacco.

But different blends do have their differences. The toppings especially.
I take siestas too, whether i want to or not😮😊.... @ 64 it kinda comes auto pilot. But not before a good pipe. I stopped asking why. Wondering if you're in a Carolinas or Arkansas....PNW here. Be well

Been smoking a pipe a little over 30 years. My late wife purchased my first pipe for me, at the time I was smoking cigars. Next pipe was a meershaum. Until then I'd only smoked Captain Black original cause that's all I'd ever seen my grandfather smoke. After that meershaum...all other pipes I purchased were meershaum pipes.

@@Wentz789 not anymore, have close to 20 of them and started thinking to myself maybe I had become a meershaum snob. Have come back to briar pipes. Mainly Peterson and Savinelli...just tried one Bones? Am enjoying all of them. While cleaning the briar pipes and on different days I will pick out a meershaum. They are great pipes but a good briar does produce a great smoke too.

You know more than me on the video thing. Picture is good. Sound is good. One of these days I’ll learn how to do videos. If only to do a lot of gaws. I’ve got way more tobacco than I need, pipes too. For now I like being a “non-presenter”. Watching a lot of folks, learning a lot. Why I smoke a pipe? Since I retired it gives me something to do, keeps me out of the kitchen(when it’s not so dang hot here). I don’t do it to relax. If I was anymore relaxed I’d be dead. My wife hates it all, like many wives maybe. So I’ll probably quit after a bit. Who knows. You never know what the future holds. Take it easy, old bud. Nice chat. 👍😃
