i think it's interesting how when flowey captured everyone, they were all sort of... slumped, or paralyzed. none of them are moving. asgore and toriel look like they're resigned to their fates, sans and papyrus look like they were frozen in place, their expression completely still, and alphys looks like she's paralyzed with fear. everyone is still... except undyne. she looks furious, her teeth gnashing, her ponytail still flying in the somehow existent wind, and her arms struggling against the thorny vines. she's the heroine that never gives up, even when all hope is seemingly lost. i think this was a very interesting choice by toby fox, and it conveys a lot about undyne's personality without any words.
Remember that Alphys created Flowey when she was experimenting with determination. She never knew what happened until that moment, when Papyrus mentioned Flowey.

Isn't it weird how they are all connected. Let me explain. Undyne trains Papyrus, and Sans is Papyrus' brother, Undyne likes Alphys and Alphys likes Undyne. Undyne works for Asgore (Because Undyne trains Papyrus so he can join the royal guard). And last, Toriel is Asgore's X wife. Oh, and Mettaton likes Papyrus. Finally, Sans knows Toriel because of that door.
Pissed off Sans could do absolutely 0 damage to Asriel and Asriel would kill him almost instantly or absorb his soul. In past timelines, Flowey DID have a very difficult time with Sans, but he tells the player that he has killed EVERYONE in the underground many times, including Sans. Plus that was him without Souls. End of argument (This was a response to LuiBei's comment).
