I have horrible CPTSD from childhood abuse. Its the worst thing ever when people criticize you for something that happend in childhood. I am overcome with hatred toward my parents and can't turn off my symptoms. I am looking forward to taking Ketamine because the thoughts are constant and sometimes I literally feel like I never felt normal to begin with. It would be awesome if this can help victims of child abuse who are the most vulnerable segment of the population and worthy of a better life.

This is the first time I have heard about Ketamine treatments close up. I live in an area where there are several therapists who do this treatment, but sadly, my insurance likely doesn’t cover. I’m definitely going to be looking into this more, as I was recently diagnosed with CPTSD after many years on medication for Bipolar 1. I would do anything it seems to “feel normal.” Or rather, how great would it be to talk about something out loud that has wreaked havoc on my life and on the lives of my loved ones with cultivated empathy from inside of me?! If ketamine can instrument THAT reality, count me in!

It’s so important that ketamine becomes covered by insurance. Everyone should have access to it, not just the wealthy

Hope you got support getting over initial anxious thoughts/feelings. With PTSD, sometimes it’s hard to try something new, or that has definitely been an experience that I have often, so I empathize. Curious if you kept on with the treatments! 😊
