@MAYANK BISHWAS If you wouldn't mind me recommending one, I would highly suggest you check out "The Anatomy of Story". It approaches storytelling from a more organic, less mechanical angle that helps you build on the bones of your initial idea into a fully fleshed out story. It has helped me out countless times before.

So is this channel dead? After 10 months, it feels awfully dead
I'm happy that you're enjoying creating content elsewhere. However, as positively as I can say this: My heart is with the essay-based educational content on this channel. I wish you and your team were able to balance both... or that these were as lucrative as podcasts... whatever the hurdle may be. I use these videos to learn and to teach, and as classroom supplements, and they're the best on the internet. But either way, I hope you and your team are enjoying yourselves. :)
This is a popular thing RUclipsrs do. They get traction on the main channel by making high effort content and when they get popular enough they transition to making podcast because it’s way less work production wise and makes way more money due to the longer format. Judging by how the creator is only replying to people who are complimenting his podcast/ other channels, I think the writing is on the wall for this channel. Which is sad. It’s his channel so he can do what he wants but I’ve already began looking else where. I recommend “studio binder” RUclips channel. They’re informative and consistent.

I love Beyond The Screenplay, but boy do I miss LFTS.
Those other channels are great, but I'd really love more LFTS videos! They are so educational and inspiring, and I love that style of format. Please make more LFTS videos!
The quality of BTS is high, but not nearly the level of LFTS. I really appreciate the effort the team puts into both.
I love seeing the new podcast episodes roll in, but I get ecstatic about new videos.
So true, the lessons are so much more condensed. The podcast is fun but can’t say I love it when they just comment about the film, rather when they break down lessons and techniques it’s so so helpful and interesting - it’s a shame it’s usually only a small snippet of the end of each episode, wish they would focus more heavily on that aspect and deep dive into it more
@@Jason-yw2ow Yeah some episodes of the podcast are better about teasing apart the themes and writing choices made in the movie, and I think the episodes about new movies are more like reaction / chit chat episodes.

Holy shit you're now involved in Mass Effect w/ BioWare
Suddenly remembered this channel after realizing I haven't seen any video for the past year then this was here. I really enjoyed the essay vids of LFTS and saddened that there are no upcoming vids here. Best wishes still on your other endeavors!

I'm seeing a lot of people ask why LFTS isn't around so much.
A quick look to their Twitter shows they're working with BioWare on the next installment of Mass Effect.
While I'm sad LFTS doesn't make their essay-style content as much anymore, Beyond the Screenplay still runs and them working on Mass Effect is something to look forward to

Would love to see an analysis on the Netflix film “The Unforgivable”. I thought it was arguably one of their best original films, and it was really well written. Huge fan of this channel, and I’ll definitely be listening to the podcast now!

I’m curious, was it better to split it out into its own channel as opposed to a publishing to a playlist on this channel with 1m+ subscribers?

Did you ever finish It’s a Wonderful Life? Sounds like you quit just when it was getting good (George’s dad dies) and every scene in the first and second act sets up the third.
