Just wanted to add 15 USC 6802, which you can include and state that you DID NOT receive the required opt-out notice at the time you created the account that is being reported (they never give you the opt-out notice). You actually have a right to opt-out from any reporting of non-public info.

Just submitted mine last night and got two emails saying that the company responded and is still working on the issue and I should hear a response within 60 days. I’ll give an update when I hear more. Crossing my fingers, toes, and eyes that this works!!🤞🏼Been working on improving my credit for a while, but I’m still about twenty points away from the midscore I need to start the process of purchasing a home. My biggest concern is will these accounts pop back up at later time and then hurt your credit again? Also will your OPEN accounts with negative information continue to report the following month. Example car loan has late payments from previous months and it is removed, but you’re still paying on it so it will continue to report going forward correct?
Just went ahead and filed my complaint. We’ll see what happens in the next 15 days. Of course it could take longer than that too depending on if they have to do more research, but I’m hopeful this will work. I’ll come back and tell you the results!

If it’s lowering your score, you still can get it removed. The whole goal isn’t to get you to not pay your debt. It’s to get the crap off there that shows that you’re not good at paying it or on time which impacts the score
No cfpb gives the credit bureaus up to 60 days to respond. Don't get your hopes up thinking that you are going to see results in 14 or 15 days. It didn't happen for me.
I just did this and my credit score went DOWN by 64 points! I think by losing the credit history my score dropped. Did this happen to anyone else? Proceed with caution!
Their can be multiple reason why you lost points. Removing accounts from your credit you will lose age. Also if you are using your credit cards it is 30% of your score. But don’t be upset it’s part of the process your score will go up and down until everything that is negative comes off
When you are putting your name on the dispute as it shows on your report do you list all the names associated with the negative accounts or just your correct name?
I literally just completed form to remove open / closed items in which I had (5)upon completion I was provided complaint numbers for each compliant to track 👏🏾im waiting 14 days now hopefully my credit score goes up and things get removed thanks bro
DO NOT remove the account completely if it just has late payments. You never want to lose positive payment history because it WILL drop your scores. You want the late payments removed, NOT the entire account
No because we have the right to accurate information. These banks selling off bad debts to collectors without us knowing. They sell your information to their “partners” and spam call you about shit you don’t owe or do business with. If they can play the game so can us average folks. Wake up brother

My biggest concern is will these accounts pop back up at later time and then hurt your credit again? Also will your OPEN accounts with negative information continue to report the following month. Example car loan has late payments from previous months and it is removed, but you’re still paying on it so it will continue to report going forward correct?

Just went ahead and filed my complaint. We’ll see what happens in the next 15 days. Of course it could take longer than that too depending on if they have to do more research, but I’m hopeful this will work.

What if the accounts are closed?
If it’s lowering your score, you still can get it removed. The whole goal isn’t to get you to not pay your debt. It’s to get the crap off there that shows that you’re not good at paying it or on time which impacts the score
No cfpb gives the credit bureaus up to 60 days to respond. Don't get your hopes up thinking that you are going to see results in 14 or 15 days. It didn't happen for me.

I just did this and my credit score went DOWN by 64 points! I think by losing the credit history my score dropped. Did this happen to anyone else? Proceed with caution!
Their can be multiple reason why you lost points. Removing accounts from your credit you will lose age. Also if you are using your credit cards it is 30% of your score.
But don’t be upset it’s part of the process your score will go up and down until everything that is negative comes off

When you are putting your name on the dispute as it shows on your report do you list all the names associated with the negative accounts or just your correct name?

Yeah, because I googled it and called the credit reporting agencies and they said for security reasons, they don’t give out the whole number
DO NOT remove the account completely if it just has late payments. You never want to lose positive payment history because it WILL drop your scores. You want the late payments removed, NOT the entire account
If you remove things that are there legitimately there is that not illegal?
No because we have the right to accurate information. These banks selling off bad debts to collectors without us knowing. They sell your information to their “partners” and spam call you about shit you don’t owe or do business with. If they can play the game so can us average folks. Wake up brother
