I'm certain you don't need a prescription for Panadol because I brought mine without it. However, I believe for anti-malaria you would need one because it typically requires a prescription.
Hi Nice one!! Pls is Canadian phone network compatible with our mobile phones here in nigeria when we travel with it down to Canada? And can u pls outline some of the extremely cold provinces, especially during winter? Thanks
Thank you!!! Yes, they are. I used my phone that I brought from Nigeria before changing it, and I actually still use it now. The extremely coldest provinces during the winter go to Manitoba (Winnipeg), Quebec, Saskatchewan, Ontario, and Alberta. This is just by provinces, by cities will differ. for instance, there are some extremely cold cities in BC. Vancouver is just not extremely cold like that.
I believe they have the same plug in as Canada. North American electrical standards for Canada and US is the same in terms of frequency, voltage and plugs.
I personally don’t think that’s a good use of your limited luggage space, even if all the air is sucked out. It is relatively inexpensive to buy a blanket here. I spoke more about this in my first; what to pack for Canada video

Does one need a doctor’s prescription to travel with basic drugs like panadol and anti malaria?
I'm certain you don't need a prescription for Panadol because I brought mine without it. However, I believe for anti-malaria you would need one because it typically requires a prescription.
